I found it on a Minecraft server list, except for some reason it was called TacoCraft and since I like tacos I added the IP and here I am because everyone was so nice so I decided to come on more and more and then yeah<3 this is a bad story

Long Live the Story that brought me to Buildcraftia
Readers, sit tight and enjoy the ride of me telling my ridiculously long story of how Buildcraftia has been for me, good luck for reading it all and hope you all enjoy.

One day, in May, 2012, I personally ended up buying minecraft and was quite stoked about that as it was my first legit purchase that I ever made. Unfortunately for me, my computer at the time was not strong enough to actually handle minecraft and I got a new laptop as a gift from my dad in the summer. That is when I was checking out Planet Minecraft and as I had not played minecraft yet, I was the largest noob out there. I was checking out the creative servers thread and at the time, Buildcraftia was actually ranked 9th in popularity or was it for how great it was. Either way, I quickly checked out the banner for the server on Planet Minecraft and found the banner rather unique compared to other banners, which I personally approved a lot.

Later on, I quickly copied and pasted the IP and did not know you could not name a server anything on the server list as for connecting to a server and as soon as I copied the ip of Buildcraftia (Which was at the time "c.buildcraftia.com"), I ran minecraft for the first time on the new pc. I went into the server list tab area and put in as server name; Buildcraftia and obviously put the ip in the ip section. I then clicked into the join server, and boom, I logged in for the first time on Buildcraftia or any server for that matter actually.

I quickly skimmed through all the rules and left spawn with the help of /help to guide my way of commands and claimed my first plot. As I was just came back from Toronto, Ontario, Canada I quickly thought of; what the hell, i wanna build the CN Tower (Yes, I had shitty grammar back then). And so I started on this and litteraly the second I finished with the base, I see a new player wanting to teleport to me. His username was "kody_thekid" for all those folks who are wondering and I ended up trusting him to help me make the cn tower just because he had a batman skin on (pretty lame, right). One month later, I finished the tower and was quite pleased and that was when I met Lux_Caelum. He seemed to be a nice guy always around me so I took his wisdom and all the advice he ever gave to me.

Let me skip to Christmas. Between all this time I ended up roleplaying a lot with out even realising it and figured out how to get a skin.

About in Christmas time, I decided I was going to make my first actual house on the server. As I still was friends with kody_thekid and I apparently had two plots claimed right next to each other, i asked him to make one mansion on one plot while I make another on the other. During the building process, I met danny111222333 as well as likeaminer49 I believe and am quite happy they both still go on today. As soon as I finished with the outside of my mansion/house I met a new player; vintage_chicken and immediately became friend with him. He was like what you call "My homie". I decided then to make the interior with kody_thekid and danny111222333 and vintage_chicken and we apparently finished everything on the plot, the terrain, the house and a small ice rink. Around the same time, kody_thekid ended up finishing his huge mansion in which I was very impressed with. Then came December 22nd, 2012 where Lux_Caelum, and laxbros101 both came to check on me and I was quickly asked my Lux; "Would you like to have a warp here" and I was personally very shocked and stoked and the whole idea seemed radical to me. I quickly responded with in a message; "Yes please sir" and I was like "OMFG" in reality. Boom, I got my first warp on Buildcraftia and if some of you remember, it was /warp Craftman. I quickly asked Lax to unclaim a plot next to my mansion plots so I can make an amphitheatre which was actually pretty decent and still was a regular. Lucky for me, the warp was still there.

I then started a mini project and testing out for the first time in making a modern house which I personally liked but Laxbros101 or Lux_Caelum did not like too much. Then, unfortunately a huge ddos attack came to Buildcraftia which caused the server to be offline for a month but as soon as I came on, I got to work on a old warp that still exists in the map but not as a warp which was /warp modernhouse. Then I felt like; "Im such an mlg pro at dis". Summer eventually came a long and the minigames server had finally opened in for what I know during Late Spring, 2013. I started to go on the Minigames server a lot and lived to play paintball and that is where I met dustyashton. We quickly became friends and in fact, when we were both a long on the minigames in paintball, I ended up showing her a little secret about on of 00buster00's map which was how to literally escape and fall into the void on the map (It involved block glitching). Then minigames went down and I was relatively sad because I loved paintball a lot.

Then came creative again for me to join where I met up with dustyashton and decided to build a paintball map. It was relatively decent to be honest but there was no such thing as paintball map applications so dusty and I gave up. Then I was redoing interior with youtubefan288 on my modern house (I personally forget when I met him) and later, after interior was redone, I met mickquintybaker or modernly known as "XEvilCraftX" who had a plot claimed right in front of my warp and generously gave it to me and this plot is where currently, my newest warp; tropicola is at (/warp tropicola, thank you azza so much for not removing it as a warp) mickquintybaker was also super generous and redid the signs about info at the warp with coloured text and even copied and pasted all the trees scattered around that plot. This is when youtubefan288 and I met up and decided to start working on a new warp, tropicola.

Quickly and carefully, I generated a terrain out of my mind which took about 2 weeks and an extra half an hour to get the water where it is in the warp. Soon after that youtubefan and I made a modern house on the terrain, a couple of boats, and a mine. We then just lazily placed random jungle tree samplings and bonemeals the hell out of them and bonemealed all the grass there as well. I then got started and was introduced to medieval and inspired to do medieval actually by AZZA470's /warp medieval (Which I absolutely loved.) I later made some more terrain that took a while again and started working on a secret project which has been almost completed. This is also about the time when I bought the HesphaestusHD account and contributor for the Craftman_21 account which I very quickly bought donator for the Craftman_21 account. I then started a renaissance village that I was going to show my Social Studies Class in my Junior High School as a little role onto my Renaissance Presentation as I was studying the Renaissance at the time. This is when I was super lucky and Lux was generous to me and let me have a copy of an epic looking Lion Statue for my Renaissance Village was looked pretty decent I must say and Lux did say to me. Then came Arcadia, and boom, I lost my renaissance village for ever, and bad news for me, I was just about to make a warp request for the renaissance village. In Arcadia, I introduced my HesphaestusHD account to myself and quickly started making a Greek Styled Mansion with not bad terraforming by bobby730 and myself. Funny story about that, the second I finished the Greek Styled House plot, Arcadia was shut down after I was planning to making another warp request. I then started working on a secret, unnamed, unknown project to now which as of now is near completion. Since then, Arcadia, I have been working on the unknown,unnamed project of mine and as well as Gio's and my dtc map. Today, I am known as Hespy or HesphaestusHD and have bought a Premium rank around Spring and am now near completion of the unknown,unnamed project so expect a warp request by me within the next month or to.

I would personally love to thank all who have helped me make Buildcraftia such an amazing experience for me, so Thank You all for helping me.
I would also like to thank you all for reading this story of Buildcraftia that I have more than gladly shared. (I am sorry my story is long, I just have been on Buildcraftia for a while) how ever, you know what would make this story even better? If all of you participate in it one way or another positively and maybe make Buildcraftia the most kind, most efficient, most unique community out there.

Alrighty, here's my little story. One day in Townsville, I was playing Minecraft like a good little bubble does. Deciding that the server I was on was very boring and a waste of my time, I went in pursuit of a new server. When I saw Buildcraftia I thought, "oh that's a pretty name", so I went for it, only to be greeted by the wonderful StickWarsLit. I then built to my heart's content which resulted in me buying premium and then mvp because I appreciated the server very much. Things came and went as time passed and now I am a mod but most importantly, many friendships were created and I cannot thank everyone for giving me something to look forward to everyday. :3 The End.

Gah I just realized how long my story up to back when I put my story is compared to others, I really need to use up more of my time.

 

Wut the hell did I even write here...

 

Heres my story I WAS ONCE OBSESSED WITH WANTING TO PLAY MINECRAFT
Literally I BEGGED SO MUCH FOR MY DAD TO BUY IT he didn't buy it for me but
This nice guy "Brian" from my school said he didn't want his minecraft account anymore
so I asked him for It and he said NO
so I gave him cupcakes everyday
Then he gave in and gave me his account
I was so happy and when I first logged on I went on a dtc server which I played nonstop on
I was -ahem- a troll and burned my teammates :I and got banned
Later then I forgot the IP and left
I tried looking for a server that suits me and I found a server called
"BuildCraft"
I joined and no one knew me :I
Only like 1 person welcomed me
And then I got bored and left for about 5 months
Then I came back and there was something called "Arcadia"
I was so confused and joined the server
More people welcomed me which made me happy
I played only on creative
I built Roleplays , Skin contests And Build contests
Next I met this nice guy named "Fireboy (some numbers)"
He was so nice we roleplayed every day and we had so much
fun I was so happy being his friend
I wanted to donate and got MVP
But then came "The Fall of Arcadia" (Fall of Gallifrey thingy )
I couldn't join for a long time and eventually lost hope that I would ever come back
I literally cried
After that I joined again and kept waiting for fireboy to join
But sadly he never did....
I was so disappointed that I didn't even care that I was gray again
When mac came on I told him I was once MVP and he wanted proof so Haloforce (Thanks a lot dude <3) said he saw me when I was MVP and mac gave me Premium (LIKE TF)
I was confused but then I realized that all the MVPs became Premium
So I played everyday and had fun
Then I donated $25 more and got MVP BACK WOOOOOOO
I was so happy
I then built some dragons (like 12)
All without skin or flesh just their bones
I wrote history on them and everything
Its pretty awesome if I do say so myself
I then got tired of the username (sudaiys)
And changed it to :TurboTeddyTurtle"
Most people hated the fact that I changed my username and wanted my old one back
But I kept this one because I love it

Hhhmm, I joined buildcraftia in October of 2012 as the tiniest newbie you could get in that age (i was only nine or something lel)
I pretty much just bummed around as a greyname, building shitty stuffs and annoying people I guess.
Sometime around 2012 - 2013 I donated, for donator because I was a kid who had money, what better thing to do with money then spend it?
I've made an absolute metric ton of friends over the years, I'd name them all but i'd probably leave people out on accident.
I was there when arcadia crashed and burned, and personally i was okay with arcadia as long as my friends were there.

Even though I only turn 13 this year, i'm really grateful for the way that the community accepted me for these years, and putting up with my odd humor and shenanigans.
Every morning, I get to read all the skype messages from the glorious american timezones, and it makes me laugh out my tiredness.
I love buildcraftia because it stays right where it is, being my first year of highschool my life has flown off the handle and done a freaking pirouette, it's good to come back to the group, whether it just be skype or on the server and being able to chill, knowing that a big change isn't thrown in my face without any warning.
Last thing, (this is getting really long @ - @) I've been trying to shuffle myself into more skype calls lately too, I love being able to talk for hours on end, and learning about how different other peoples lives are to mine.

So I guess I wanna say thank you for the community that's here today for sticking through all the crazy stuff that goes on here.
(another note, i probably won't be changing usernames as mojang accounts is giving me the evil eye as of late, i'll find some way around it eventually)

 

TL;DR : Helped create and run server for over 3 years, banned lots of people in the process, then quit.
