Question About ones ban appeal....

So looking at that Bush ban appeal it looked pretty fair and honest.
and his record isn't that bad to be honest.
He was banned back in July also
I just think he shouldn't of been denied and I saw no problems
Just wondering
Why was he denied?

 

Yeah when you make an appeal isn't the Moderator supposed to give a reason?

 

I think the appeal was all fine and dandy, it's probably just the fact that he was also trynna make it funny (I loled at it), which may have been what got it turned away. Other than that I think it should have been accepted.

well, I saw the "dick church" youtube video when it was published (deleted shortly thereafter), and saw that it was an obvious dick. The build was very offensive and quite sexual; in that regards, highly inappropriate. Now, I believe a perm ban for him was deserved. I believe that he has changed and that he was in the wrong mindset, and that JKFTW was a bad influence. But that doesn't change the fact that what he built was quite inappropriate. Since Dusty has already commented on the appeal and denied it, there is nothing I can do. I support Dusty's decision to deny the appeal and I think it was the right one. But he is a good guy, and I was friends with him at one point (long time ago albeit).

He can appeal again in 30 days

I shall leave the thread open as this is quite a debatable decision, and one that I can not personally deal with. Do not direct any form of hate towards dusty though, she made the right call, and was doing her job.

 

Okay, he built a dick. That was months back. Who cares if it was innaproptiate? Okay, he posted it on YouTube, but it was taken down not long after. Therefore, he deserves a second chance like every other player. I don't see one valid reason why he shouldn't be unbanned because his ban appeal was very detailed and he apologized.

My official opinion(not to contradict dusty specifically) is that Bush should wait a bit longer if he wants to be unbanned. To prove that he truly wants to come back and isn't just wasting time.

 

Can I just state that Bushman77 has been banned over 30 times over his time on Buildcraftia, which started back in 2011, and he admits that? It just isn't a good record, and it really influences on bans and their length.

He's just saying that if Bush would get unbanned, he would get banned again very quickly for a similair offence.
Plus, who even knows the guy is still interested in BC?

Bushman here, I believe i should be unbanned. Genitalia is a natural part of life and I believe it is rather prude to not find the humorous side of it. Our builds were and act of protest over the government of BuildCraftia. I believe in a proper free world, one should be able to make a comical object. I do see the point that I have been banned over thirty times, but i have also been a member for over 5 years now I think, and that is only 6 times a year really. A lot of the bans were joke bans as well thanks to the horrible influence of JKFTW.
