New Server Era?

I think what Miner is saying is that you drove MacMeBenny away from a server that he was an owner on, and caused him so little activity that eventually got him demoted. Correct me if I am wrong, Miner.

 

I'm not saying it's Chaz's fault that Mac's playtime dropped. I'm saying the demotions were his and Zach's fault and that they can't be shocked when people are salty about an owner stopping playing

 

You need to learn some English lessons or something because that is out of the context....

So correct me if wrong but if someone starts a server and puts out all the money to start it up and pays for all things related to the server, stickers, shirts and including paying for the server costs, internet costs, and pays developer, then the server is theirs???? The others on the server voluntered to work on the server and feel they are owners too? I guess that is how all servers work????

 

No, the donations kept the server alive, not Mac. The problem is that we suspect him of pocketing that money for his own use, and he's been offline for (pretty much) over a year. That's why we don't really view him as an owner anymore.
Oh and, we don't actually pay Leo. (Or at least that's what I think...)

 

Well, Mac didn't really do much of the actual server work, but he was the only one with access to the PayPal account where all the donation money goes. He took money from the donation money as if it was his own, even though players that donated were told that all the money goes to keeping the server alive, NOT paying the server founder. He also wasn't responding to any of the staff member's messages on Skype or any other form of communication, which was irresponsible of a server owner and founder. So, as a result, he was demoted.

 

But do you really think those who do not work hard deserve payment? 'Cause Mac went frolicking in a flower field for about 2 months without adequate reason and then comes back discrediting everyone who has done more than he could ever commit to in the course of a couple of years. He would be nowhere without the others.

 

I didn't even sleep for 48 hours when I read that and I understood it.

That's not the point. He said ALL money goes to the well being of the server, but he took some of the money. Plus, he just disappeared from the server and wasn't even helping the wellbeing of the server.

Okay, I'm not trying to branch this out to a completely different argument, but honestly, the guy wasn't doing much. He rarely came on, and I don't know whether or not that had to do with schoolwork or extracurricular activities, or perhaps he just lost interest, but what we've been trying to say is that he's just been too inactive, and wasn't helping much at all. Along with that, Leo has kids and is an adult, and he still comes on and helps the server, along with Azza, and he's in the military. Compared to these scenarios he had no particular reason as to why he only came on once every month, We made most of the server decisions without him, and when we needed his assistance 9/10 times he wasn't there. We felt it was a better decision for the server, so there is not need to start a fight over it. It was to resolve an issue, not to create a bigger one.

 

and Chaz you weren't on just about ever when you were staff so I'm sure that's what miner meant
