MsCottonCandy Saga, 2013-Present

I am writing to you today to convey the true story: the facts, the truth and the resolution

Over the past year as I’m sure most of you are aware we have had many changes and problems across our network. Before Arcadia we had a moderator called MsCottonCandy. MsCottonCandy was your typical player until one day she decided to donate an extortionate amount of money towards the network ($2462 over a 5 day period) As a token of our gratitude we decided to promote her to admin.

It wasn’t until a few day or weeks later that our Owner MacMeBennyZ received a phone call from her father (Zach never posts his number anywhere online). MsCottonCandy’s father proceeded to threaten Zach unless he refunded all the money she had donated illegally using his credit card (Candy has taken her fathers credit card without his consent which is classed as theft and proceeded to donate to the server without his consent). Her father stated that he knew were Zach lived and that he would come and take the money himself and also insinuated physical harm, Zach and his parents then took this issue to the authorities to deal with the matter which I cannot go into detail with.

As a result of the situation the authorities advised Zach and his family to cease all communication and affiliation with MsCottonCandy and her father, Candy was dismissed from staff as a result.

As your typical user candy had many friends including some of our past moderators and admins (J6unlimited and SparkyWolf), they both took this news very badly and took it upon them selves to defend candy even to this day. As a typical friend would do they only listened to candy and refused to face the hard and solid facts and evidence and continue to spread and follow the false and fraudulent accusations and rumors about BuildCraftia.

As I’m sure the majority of you are aware over the past few days there has been a spike in these incidents due to candy accidently being added to our community chat, since then both SparkyWolf and J6unlimited have been banned from the network (Despite our best efforts to be civil)

The main reason for me writing this letter is for you all to understand that we are not thieves, fraudsters or crooks. We are simply a homegrown MineCraft server providing and expanding for our community. We have never once used you donations for anything else than for the server, all of Candy’s fraudulent donations were refunded as seen above, No other donations we made under any other usernames by MsCottonCandy and never again will we promote a user to staff because of their donations.

I hope this letter has clarified the true and honest perspective on what has happened over the past year with the users previously mentioned and I hope that we can regain your trust if it was ever lost

Candy wasn't promoted to Moderator.
She was promoted to Administrator. xD

 

Yes, she was once a Admin. I remember that.

She told me that she worked 2 jobs just to purely donate to the server

Im actually really sad about because i really did trust her
