Welcome back to BC's No.1 non-competetive news bulletin! A bitta late, blame my history teacher. Anyhoo, the tidbits. So, in recent news, there has been talk of 1.11, and various features in it, and changes that would happen to BC. The most important one being the new reputation system, basically for voting and playing regularly, you get nifty rewards. Nifty! Next up, local moderator, @Alkaline (with a bitta help from yours truly) has been creating a player archive. Basically a gallery of pods with player heads, their IGN/nickname, and a short bio. Help him now by suggesting players right here: https://forum.bcsn.us/index.php?threads/help-bcsn-player-archive.4134/ Hand Drawn Humour Since this is the third issue, lets have a three item special!* First we heave AERIUS The "New worlds smallest quadcopter" Its a really cool little toy like gadget, a tiny quadcopter (3x3x2cm) which can do tricks and fly around and such. Can manage 5 to 7 minutes of flight for every quarter hour of charge. Price: 30 Dollas John Rating: I dont have a ratings system but this is pretty neato, kinda pricey for something so tiny, but hey, its technology! Id buy this if i had moolah to burn. Now i present to you, Momentum! The worlds fastest "Hybrid spinning top gyroscope" whatever that is. Its apparently a physics education toy, and its a kinda spinning metal top. And to quote the web page: "It is a completely new way to experience Newton’s Laws of Motion" So yeah, education physics, whats the price? TWENTY FIFE DOLLARS FOR A TINY SPINNING TOP TOY??!?!? Ill just stick to the souvenir one i bought for 50 cents thank you. Lastly: See that white pebble-like object? Its not a bird, and not a plane, it is "Wuvo Spot". Its a thing you attach to your belongings youre afraid to lose and it can be tracked trough bluetooth. Useful if your wallet gets stolen or keys get lost. 25$ may seem expensive, but its a good price for never losing your keys again. That is, unless you lose your phone too... Magnetite (Iron Oxide) One of the main iron ores (72.4% Fe) and the most magnetic mineral on earth. (hence the name) It can occur in beach sands as black sands amongst other heavy metals (In such locations as California or New Zealand) Theres also evidence that it can be found in the human brain, and that it allows certain individuals to use magnetoreception for navigation. It was also used in recording devices back in the 1930's and as a catalyst to ammonia. Its crystals are metallic and octahedrial. Its a valuable collectable mineral, with largeish specimens with nice, defined crystals carrying a pretty hefty price tag. Welp, that appears to be all yet again. Thank you for reading, and see you next month. - John Co Publishings *- i am not being payed to advertise the shown products, please dont sue nono
