Hello everyone! I'm here to bring you some very good news ; my animation series, Rider in the North, has started production after several months of trying things out! Now I know you're all like 'ughh Olo what's this about again' , so let's get on with it! Story The main continent of Rider in the North will be called Insula. Insula is ruled by a ruthless king, Tarquin the Second. In the complete north of the island is a province surrounded by walls and patrolled constantly by his soldiers ; the Forbidden Province. It is said to hold a secret that would be powerful enough to destroy Tarquin's Empire. The Rider in the North is a member of the Sovereignty, the old kingdom before the Empire. He is one of the few left after Tarquin arrived in Insula and killed his kin. He aims to travel to the Forbidden Province to find the secret that dwells there. Map Because of the sheer immensity of the Forbidden Province alone, I had to use WorldPainter, which is a really cool program to make gigantic worlds. So far I only have terrain, so there are no buildings yet. Still though, I am very proud to show you how beutiful the world will be. The first part of the world I created were the Flower Fields. As the name suggests, it's full of flowers and sparse, large trees. We move on along the road. You can see the mountains in the distance. This is the passage towards the Glade, through the mountains. The Glade is a lake surrounded by mountains. It will play a large part in the story. So yeah! So far, that's the only thing I've managed to paint today, altough I will be posting more updates as the world (and the animations) progress!
