This is a short story that I thought of while taking a shit. It all started in Philidelphia. I lived in a peaceful neighborhood, not much drama and there was never anything violent happening. this changed when, as I was playing basketball on my school's court with my friends, we saw 3 guys, all physically fit and strong, wielding baseball bats, walking down our neighborhood street. I was frightened, but I wanted to keep my mother safe, as they appeared to be ready to rob and ransack my neighborhood. as I ran at them, screaming, they turned around and hit me off to the side of the curb. bleeding down the side of my head from the curb impact, I ran home, crying. my mom was furious. "WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO RECKLESS" she yelled. I tried to convince her, but she was convinced I was way too young to live in such an unsafe neighborhood. "you've got an aunt and uncle in California, and you're going to live with them for a while." she told me. at the airport, she kissed me and gave me my ticket. I was scared, but I knew I could do it. I stepped on the plane and looked at my ticket. "first class!? amazing!" I thought to myself. it was a long flight, all the way across the country. alternating between napping and drinking orange juice, the hours long flight felt like it went on forever. when I stepped on the terminal, there was a cop searching for my name. quickly, I scurried out of the terminal. "what did he want?" I asked myself. I whistled for a cab, and it pulled up quickly to the drop off area. when it got close I noticed the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. "this must be one rare cab!" I exclaimed. I pulled up to the house at about 7 or 8 and I said to the cabbie "yo homes smell you later!" looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the prince of bell air
