Punishment Guidelines

This guideline was made public to clarify the punishment procedures in BuildCraftia Network. Later, we've added the section about ban appeals and punishment reports.

Note: The staff member has the right to be more lenient or strict than these guidelines based upon their own judgment of the situation and the input of other staff. There are a lot of situations that cannot be listed here and, again, the staff will use their judgement in these cases. A permaban can always be issued instantly if the offense is severe or the player in question is repeatedly violating the rules or they were banned before.

Being disrespectful

1. Mute
2. Tempban
3. Permaban

Disagreeing in chat, Discord or Forums about staff decisions

1. Mute
2. Tempban
3. Permaban

Instead use the appropriate thread for Ban Appeals and Punishment Appeals.

Raging / flaming in chat / spamming / inappropriate content

1. Verbal noticement
2. Kick / Warning
3. Mute
4. Permaban

Inappropriate username

1. Tempban until player can change their username
2. Permaban on second offense

Grief

1. Tempban (length based on severity)
2. Permaban

Hacking/Exploiting

1. Permaban

Intentionally advertising other servers

1. Permaban

Other forms of advertising

1. Muting for 1-3 days depending on the case
2. Permaban on second offense
