Welcome back to microwave cookery 101!
Ah, wintery evenings call for snacks, therefore, John will teach you THREE easy snack recipies!
    Its a christmas special!

    First off, Microwave Peanut brittle.
Peanut brittle seems like wintery food to me.

    Youll need the following:
-One and a half cups of dry roasted peanuts (unsalted)
    -One cup of white sugar
-Half a cup of light corn syrup
    -A pinch of salt
    -1 tablespoon of butter
    -1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    -1 teaspoon of baking soda

    -Baking Sheet
    -Bowl
    -Microwave

First, grease the baking sheet and set it aside somewhere, take the bowl and throw in the sugar, syrup, salt and peanuts. Once its nicely mixed, cook it in a microwave (700W) for 6 to 7 minutes till the mixture is bubbly, and peanuts are browned. Take the bowl out and stir in the butter and vanilla, follow it up with 2 to 3 more minutes in the microwave. After thats done, take it out and quickly stir in the baking soda till its all foamy.
Pour onto the baking sheet and let it cool till its set. Once its all done, break it into pieces or something.
    Enjoy!

Next up, something salty to go with the sweetness.
    Microwave potato chips!

    Youll need:
    -1 paper-thin sliced potato
    -1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
-Half a teaspoon of salt and any other spices you might wanna apply (although id try with salt alone first time)
-Plastic bag (produce bag works well)
    -Large plate
    -Cooking spray (or oil)
    -Still a microwave

Pour the oil into the bag, then throw in the sliced idahos and shake it all about.
Make sure nothing flies out and gets stuck to the ceiling.
Coat the plate in the spray or oil and lay out all the slices you can.
Blast the slices for 3 to 5 minutes until browned.
Remove the chips from the plate, and season them with the salt or however you like, then let them cool.
    Tasty!

    Lastly, a simple chocolate pudding.
    Classic.

    You will require:
    -Bowl
    -Plastic wrap
    -Refrigerator
    -Another microwave
    -Half a cup of sugar
-A third of a cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
    -3 tablespoons of cornstarch
    -2 cups of milk
    -2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Put the cocoa, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl and mix it together till its mixed nicely (preferrably whisk it together), then keep whisking while adding the milk a bit at a time, so it doesnt have lumps.
Put it in the hotbox and cook for 3 minutes, after that stir and cook for one minute again.
Keep repeating till mixture is shiny and thick (usually 2 to 4 minutes does the trick), stir in vanilla afterwards.
Once done, put some plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding to prevent it from forming (or if you prefer it, dont), cool in fridge, serve cold.
Tip: Tastes good with whipped cream.

    Galena (lead (II) sulfade)
The beautiful, natural form of lead (II) sulfade.
Most important ore of lead, and important ore of silver.

Very abundant mineral, crystals can be cubic, as seen in the picture, or octahedral*.
Since ancient times, its used as the main ore of lead, and sometimes even silver ore
(it may contain 1-2%, but that suprisingly outweighs the lead in revenue).
The largest documented crystal was a cube 10 in/25 cm on all sides, found in the Great Laxey mine on the Isle of Man.

    *
Basically a diamond shape, but three dimensional, like 2 pyramids stuck by the bottoms.

It appears that this content-filled issue is over.
