Ah! The BuildCraftia Awards! As we're approaching the award show in the upcoming months, the official date and time has been decided. On Sunday, January 15 at 3pm Eastern Standard Time, the award show will take place, though you can find a full list of times below under the time table for a full list of when voting and nominating will take place, along with a hand full of other events. We are announcing this super early to allow you to plan ahead and mark your calendars for the awards show. DEC 18 - Stage, hotels, convention center, etc. open to public JAN 1 - Nominations begin JAN 8 - Nominations end / Voting begins JAN 14 - Voting ends JAN 15 - 1:00pm*: Plug.dj open DJ - 2:45pm*: Seating begins - 3:00pm*: Award show begins - 3:10pm*: Intermission - 3:30pm*: Award show ends - 4:30pm*: Fireworks *All times refer to Eastern Standard Time (EST), click here to convert your timezone: http://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/ Who attends an award show without a place to stay? That's exactly what we were thinking! If you plan on attending the award show, then we will throw in a free customizable hotel room, no charge. The hotel rooms will open January 8 to the public, which is the day you will be able to start decorating! There will be plenty of hotel rooms for everyone, so don't worry! If you are Penguin+ your hotel room will be a little bit larger as a special perk for your generosity towards the server. VIP seats this year will be reserved for 4 seats in the front of the theater and will be randomly selected by 2 players, each allowed to pick 1 friend to be next to them. To enter to have the chance to win two seats, enter the raffle by entering your Minecraft username here: https://itskashers.typeform.com/to/NS5tWn As always, you will be able to reserve seats. However, be there first to get the best seats as seating this year will be different! This year, we will be going for a more modern seating, so we will be having the 'movie theater' style recliners, so not everyone can take the first row. Everything is still under construction, and hopefully I can get a warp going by mid-December. I hope to see you there, and try to clear up your calendars as there are 2 months until the awards show, leaving plenty of time to look forward to it.
As always, the community will be able to vote for categories, though I will offer a select few categories to start things off (such as Best Builder, Forum King, etc). That will be when nominations come around which isn't for a little bit
Maybe I didn't want any awards anyways ;-; I mean really.. . . who thought I deserved "Most Enlightening Player" ?
