"Whaddup BCNation?" My name is Kash, and welcome to another issue of BCblogs! In this issue, we changed our format of BCblogs, added new sections and more comedy! We dominated our goal last time, so i promised we will do something big. First off, we have a new member to BCblogs! Olocool will be joining us as our photo designer and one of our writers! This weeks goals are: 10 likes 300 views 50 comments Let's see if we can dominate that goal again, and by goal i mean a Soccer goal. Congratulations to Yvagary For receiving player of the week. I want to award this to Yvagary because she is amazing and active around the community. She loves to be around everyone. I also awarded this because of something serious. Yva at this moment is fight Juvenile Diabetes. This is our next topic. Sudaiys is doing a charity event. He has four plots right next to each other, with 64 mini plots on each regular plot. Once he gets each plot filled with presents (Buildings, redstone, etc.) he will donate $5000.00 USD to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. If you don't know what Diabetes are, then here is a definition. Diabetes is a lifelong (chronic) disease in which there are high levels of sugar (glucose) in the blood. JeremyClarkson10! With his thread: Creative Thread of the week: Skywars (with a twist) Lets move onto the NEW section of BCblogs! We will start off with a player interview, with MacMeBennyZ! Hello everyone! Today i am interviewing MacMeBennyZ (Zach), he is the founder of the wonderful server, BuildCraftia. How are you doing today, Zach? Hey there Kash, I'm doing excellent! Thanks for asking Glad to hear that! First Question. Did you ever think BuildCraftia would become this big? Hmmm, BuildCraftia… I don't think I ever thought it would be this big when I started it. I remember the time when I first started it actually, the server got griefed the first day haha! But yeah, the server itself is just incredible - the community, everything. I think the max amount of players on the server at once was around 120 players. That was a crazy time! Did you think Arcadia would be better than BuildCraftia at first? The whole thing with Arcadia was just really weird. I was really excited by the fact that a company wanted to partner with us but it was just a weird situation. How they did it and how we did it was just too different - they wanted to make it a completely different server. We already had a solid community and I think Arcadia just made it dull. When I look back at it, I wish I never decided to do Arcadia but yet again - that's how we found our favorite penguin, Quicksteve! Either way, a lesson was learnt. Who we're the first staff members (That you can remember)? Dang… the first staff members - I earliest I can remember is FrozenDiamonds and assasionsex (spelled his name wrong) (they were brothers). They stayed with us a while and helped me build up the server. However, later on I remember finding Kenreao in a old space ship that crashed on the server. There was also this kid name Sasha… in like Minecraft Update 1.8 (the old 1.8). However most of it is just a blur haha. I remember certain points but I know there was more people. Are you planning to do anything big in the furture of BuildCraftia? We are excited to be releasing the hub soon! The hub will be the place that connects all of our servers together - it will be much easier to join different servers etc. Hopefully this will bring our player count back up. Since Minecraft itself is having some major issues (we're starting to see player loss in general) it's going to be hard. But we are going to try our very best to put our server on top again. We are also looking to release some new games too. UHC, etc.? We always love suggestions! Tell us what YOU want! In addition, we are planning to revamp our pages on websites like PlanetMinecraft, etc. to try to attract more potential members. Haha, fun fact: during the time period from Arcadia to now I formed a gray spot on the side of my head. Probably from all the stress ;( If you guys want to see it, I can take a picture sometime. Now that I think about it, it really sucks that I have a gray spot because of all the stress from this. Will there be a creative map reset anytime soon? We have no planned Creative map reset anytime soon - however we are thinking about revamping Survival. I would like to try Factions but I'm pretty sure that the other staff want a regular Survival PvE/PvP. If you had the choice, would you pick pie or cake? π Last Question. Will you upgrade the servers ram soon? I think we're pretty efficient with 128GB of Ram right now. I don't think we're actually using all of it right now. Thank you Kash! and Hey there you wonderfull people of Buildcraftia! I will be your news reporter and art maker for BCblogs Weekly! Let's stop blabbering and get to the news! This thursday, a troll called DarkAssassin came to BuildCraftia. Claiming that 'firelord2000' - who has been offline for 2 months - was going to hack BuildCraftia, nobody on the server at that time believed him. After a while, it was confirmed he was a troll and left. This is an example that BC is smart enough to fend off those underabridge living trolls! 1.8 is upon us! With tons of new features including (but not limited to) underwater temples with new mobs, new commands, bunny's, villagers making babys, endermites, iron trapdoors, slime blocks, banners and armor stands! The survival server will be updated with new shops and will be improved. Quicksteve said that "It would take about one or two months until we get 1.8 on our server." Rumors on reddit.com/r/minecraft indicate that Microsoft is planning to buy Minecraft, with a bid of 2 billion dollars. Mojang has 'no reaction', though it does seem like the deal will certainly not go through. If Microsoft would buy Minecraft, we can all agree.. It would suck. You should really change the top posters, top points and god points to improved because, if you take the ones from last week and the subtract them from the one this week, it shows the improvement that deserve top score. If it is a lot of people take a screenshot and use a magical mind to spot the most improved. Other that that its cool
To be honest, I think the "Top Forum Posters" and "Most Liked Players" should be removed, it's is usually the same people on the same issue. It would make the page shorter.

If you think this is dumb, stupid and a waste of space then i will stop putting effort into it and i will stop posting it over all. I thought you were nice, but you tell me something that took me 2 hours to make and tell me that it is STUPID and a waste of space.
