Denied MacMeBenny Ban Appeal

So, I'm just a little confused first of all that I'm banned from the server. I mean, c'mon. It's me...

Anyway, I obviously realize there's probably some hate towards me for whatever reason and the only person who would ban me (or even attempt to see if I did something) would be Leo so thank you! Other than that, I will try to make a real ban appeal so here it goes....

The 'claimed base' that I apparently raided is my own base that I built with fellow team members. Therefore if I own the items then I should be allowed to use them? I did not get rid of any items, they are all in my inventory. Like I kind of don't get it - like I own these items so I kind of stole from myself if that's what you guys are getting at? idk. anyway I feel this is a unfair ban and is a little upsetting the lack of respect people have for me on my own server <3

Hopefully I'll see you guys soon! I tried to log on today to talk to some of you because I was beginning to become friends again with some of you but looks like we can't have nice things.

Hey Mac, so I've decided to deny this appeal on the grounds that

1. While you might've built the base, you're not longer part of the admin team, and so no longer had claim to the base. Using your op, which should have been removed, for obvious reasons isn't allowed. If you had asked Leo/Azza for supplies, or others for supplies, they may have been willing to give you some.
2. The tone of this appeal denotes heavy sarcasm and doesn't sound sincere. While I would unban you on the grounds of having been owner, attempting to create an appeal which sways whoever reads it to understand your plight is not fair. Saying "come on it's me", doesn't make me want to unban you. All players, including staff have to follow the rules, regardless of rank or previous rank.

Overall, you are not being unbanned because of insincerity and abusing power you shouldn't have had instead of asking other players. You may appeal in one month. Thank you.

 

hey I feel your being bias on the fact of how I talk? I don't need to speak in a professional manner to try to get unbanned from a server I wish to play on.

In addition, how am I suppose to know that I have op? That is your guys own fault for not removing it from me and therefore under no circumstances would it ever fall on me. Also, there are no rules anywhere that state that it was an admin only base - like what does that even mean.

I hope you rethink your decision because I am not happy with your response.

3. It's not that you weren't speaking in a professional manner, knowing that you're 15/16, it can hardly be expected of you. No, it was the tone, that you were the victim of some plot, and that since you were the previous owner, you should be given leniency. The rules affect every player, regardless of rank or history with the server.
4. To access the owner/admin base claim, even with op, you have to do /ignoreclaim. I would know, I have op on Survival, and I still have to use that command. That ability to do the command should have signalled a mistake to you.
5. Saying our mistake in not removing it is our fault is true, however it's your mistake in abusing it. You're also digging yourself a deeper hole here by putting the blame on us for something you did.
6. It's not a rule, however again, it's easy to see that it's a claimed base owned by Leo and Azza. You would have received the same punishment if you'd raided a regular member's claimed base with /ignoreclaims.
7. Note: In the Buildcraftia rules, found here, all staff decisions are final. This applies to ban appeals as well as on the server itself. I thought on your appeal for almost 25 minutes, as well as asked another staff member for assistance in deciding. You don't get to re-appeal an appeal, and you don't get to argue a punishment.
8. Not being happy with my response to your appeal is not my fault. If you're unhappy with the punishment, then you shouldn't have done the crime.

You may appeal again in one month, on the Second of August.
