Hi! A couple of weeks ago, I purchased the /plot download command from the vote shop and tried downloading -19;-11 (premium server [200x200]). The plot is merged forming about a 1024x1024 section. The resulting schematic file that was downloaded consisted of ZERO BYTES!

Then today I again purchased the /plot download command from the vote shop, and I tried to download the -17;-12 plot, again on the premium server. This plot is also merged and is about a 400x400 plot. Again, I received a schematic with ZERO BYTES!

Please help, or I can no longer spend time building on this server since I cannot back up my builds on the premium server.

    Edit:

Thank you @Quicksteve for manually backing up my builds! Really nice of you! Let me know when the /plot download function works for merged plots on the premium server.

2 weeks later... I logged on today to see if the /plot download command works on my Hall of Fame/Art Museum at -18;-13 on the premium server. I got a file that was downloaded to my computer, but it was still zero bytes.

In MCedit when I tried to import the file that resulted from /plot download command purchased from the vote shop, I get the following error:

"I don't know how to import this file: plot.schematic

    Error: ValueError('Users/Lumen/Downloads/plot.schematic is too small! (0) ',)"

I added two more paintings to my art museum, but they are not backed up.

I know that this holds much less priority than ensuring that we follow EULA and don't get blacklisted! Thank you for this great server.

But that is my point: just the possibility of not being able to log on to the server (if we were blacklisted for example) and not having any access to my builds because I don't have a back up makes me less likely to build on the server.

A message from the almighty owner Quicksteve: I'll get it fixed for him [Lumen] though.
I wouldn't worry, Lumen. The server will never have a huge data loss like that, or even if we get blacklisted, we'll always have a backup.

Alright Lumen, I have good and bad news.

The good news is the plot downloads should now work as expected. The bad news: they only work for plots with 512*512 maximum area. Don't worry though, I'm working with the dev to remove this limitation, so expect an update soon.

I tried the /plot download command in a 200x200 plot at /p tp -18;-13 on the premium server and still got zero bytes. This is the file that was downloaded onto my computer after I did /plot download:

Note, this is smaller than a 500x500 but still doesn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong?

I go to the plot, type /plot download, then I click on the link, the zero byte file is downloaded to my computer. Am I missing a step or something?

Hello @Quicksteve ! Some progress. I got a file to download, but when I tried to import the schematic with MCEdit I got the following error:

I don't know how to import this file: plot (6).schematic.

Error: LoadingError((Multiple errors encountered",NBTFormatError('Not an NBT file with a root TAG_Compound(file starts with "\x1f\x8b\x08" (0x00088b1f(',), ValueError("Level file does not contain enough blocks! (size(761174,)) Try putting the size into the filename, e.g. server_level_128_128_64.dat',)), <traceback object at 0x124c02998>)
