We need to talk...

Well, it's been great, but it's time for me to move on. It's time for me to leave the Buildcraftia Staff team. I know, I know, just a couple weeks after I got admin. Sad how life works out like that.

Some of you may be wondering, “Hey, why are you leaving so soon?” and the simple response is life. Life is hell. For those of you who did not know, my father passed away earlier this week, which is a huge factor to my leave. Furthermore, I've decided that I need to focus on my schooling and my family more than ever before. My responsibilities within my family life have been majorly stepped up over this pass week and I simply do not have the time anymore. I do not have enough time to devote hours on end to the server. This is simply unfair to you, the players. I always knew if I were to ever become an Administrator I wanted to be able to be there to constantly help players new and old alike. This isn't possible for me at this point in my life.

At this point, some of you may be cheering and some of you may be slightly upset.. and this leads to a secondary reason for my sudden departure. I am simply tired of a lot of the comments and disrespect I have been receiving and I am truly hoping that since I will no longer be a figure in power, this won't be such a problem. Anyways, the little comments have truly worn me down over these past few months and instead of snapping and saying things that will cause a great loss of respect towards me, I decided it would be easier to leave. Yes, many of you may have noticed how I have been getting no rather snappy and I hate that, but certain individuals have driven me to my breaking point, so congratulations to them. No need to try and get dirt on me any longer.

Now, for those of you wondering what this means for me being on the server in general… Or maybe you just don't care anymore… But anyways, as far as my overall activity, it depends. I may disappear off the maps or I may visit occasionally. At this point I have no clue. But one thing is for sure, I will not be committing as much time as I once could/would.

I am thankful for EVERYONE that has supported me through these past 6 (almost 7) months. It means the world to me to have people who have supported me unconditionally. I truly am thankful.

First off, I would like to thank the entirety of the staff team who have continuously supported me over this past week and they understand what I am going through and accept it. I am really sorry about my sudden leave, but let's be honest, many of us knew that it would be coming.

I would also like to thank ALL of my friends (too many to name) who have always listened, no matter how odd I was being. Every single one of you mean so very much to me and I will forever thank you for all of your support.

So, I guess this is goodbye, Buildcraftia. Farewell… I may be back someday.

Dusty, you have been my closest friend on the server, and will continue to be my closest friend. You're like a sister to me and I would never want something to put added stress onto your life like this. I hope everything works out for you, and keep in touch okay? I'll miss those inside-joke type skype calls with you, you've helped me through so much, so much that I can't even fit into this comment, and I truly do thank you for that. I love you with all of my heart, you are an amazing person and I hope everything works out for you. <3

Dusty, it is most likely that I am one of those people that drove you to your breaking point. And I may be the only one that'll say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for bugging you about ships, I'm sorry for being annoying, I'm sorry for just straight up disrespecting you. I really do feel bad about what I have done. I took it all way too far. I'm very sorry for your loss and I hope you can move past it all. Remember, life gets better. I can't even imagine the pain you are going through right now, but just push through it. I know you can do it. I wish you luck with your schooling and your life in general. I'm very sorry.

Honestly, Dusty.... you were my favorite staff (no offense to Razer or Fan) but, I'm going to really miss you on the server... because you were one of my longest friends I've had... I will miss you. Stay Safe, and have a good life.

 

Great staff member; we didn't talk all the time but I felt we sort of talked more towards the end of your staff career. I'm sure you'll be remembered as a highly-intelligent, supportive and - most importantly - friendly person: not just by me, but by everyone.

I understand how much you have going on right now, but if you ever get a spare few moments in your life, a lot of BC members would be happy to see you drop by
