    Recently the Party Plugin was updated, and it is downright confusing and annoying! Here's why:

    -Old Parties are still active!
    The parties from the old plugin are active, and can't be quit/used. They can be used for chat messages via /pc (message), but all the other commands are broken and/or cant be used.

    -New Plugin = Confusing
    The new plugin has many of the same commands, except for /pc. /pc can be used in the old plugin for sending messages, but in the new one, it's "! (message)". I believe this is confusing, and annoying for people who simply type "!" into chat, and it doesn't work.

    Resolution:
    I believe a good resolution for this would be either removing the new plugin, or deleting all the parties in the older one (and changing ! to /pc).

    P.S. I marked this as a bug for the old Parties still in use. It can also be seen as a suggestion, however!

    The new party is a lot more confusing and when i do /party help its hard to tell what command is for what party type so personally i would vote for the new party command to GTfO

    I'll try a clear up as much as I can for the new party plug in.
    First off, with this new party chat you can talk to people in your party across ALL parties on the Buildcraftia Network. But with the old plugin, you could only talk to people on the same server.
    As far as the commands are concerned, I think a few of them are getting interfered with by the old plug in, but here are the commands I can remember anyways:
    /party create It's pretty obvious what that does, it simply creates a party.
    /party invite (player name) or /party add (player name) This invites other players to your party.
    /party join This lets you join a party after you are invited.
    /party leave This command lets you leave a party.
    If you wish to speak in a party chat, simply put "!" before your message.
    (I know I'm forgetting at least one command, but these are just basics)

    I like this, but I'd prefer if the old plugin parties were removed.

    Yea but the thing that is the best about the old party was the /pc and the coloured chat so you knew it was party the italics are a little too much alike with the public chat (if that makes sense)

    The old party plugin was removed. I've updated the party plugin to now include /party toggle. It will toggle what writing !msg or msg does:

    In normal mode:

    msg: Global Chat
    !msg: Party Chat

    In party mode:

    msg: Party Chat
    !msg: Global Chat

    Additionally party chat messages are now in aqua + italics and it should be pretty hard to not distinguish main chat from party chat now.
