Hey. Here's some suggestions for a factions server. This is coming from an experienced faction player. Silk Spawners - needed to make good farms with Spawners Extensive market - an extensive market would be great where you can sell farmable goods like crops or from Spawner farms. Also a place where you can buy almost any item in the game. Factions is usually more focused around farming money and buying things rather than farming the items themselves because people want to play factions, not survival mine craft. No withers - Wither raiding absolutely ruins factions. I recommend withers be banned. No Mcmmo - This is more of a personal opinion. I know some players love Mcmmo while others do not. I personally dislike it because it takes away from Pvp. World border - infinite worlds make enemies bases hard to find. If you can't find bases to raid then what's the point. I recommend 10000 x10000 No Pay to Win - this could be a problem... But literally the biggest thing that takes away from factions is the pay to win aspect of most server. Maybe we could have kits, but you have to pay in game money to unlock use of them. Voter Crates and Rewards - Vote rewards could include voter keys (used to open vote crates), tokens (used in a token shop where you can buy ascetic things or maybe other things idk), in game cash, and maybe have a small percentage of getting rare items like good swords and armour. No enchantments beyond vanilla limits - No op enchantments please like Prot X and Sharpness XV that you couldn't obtain legitimately. Please consider These suggestions. I will provide more suggestions most likely. A factions server can be great if done right. I forgot an important one: obsidian breaker. Allows obsidian to be broken with tnt in a few hits. All types of Spawners should be available in the market like iron golem, pigman, cow, etc, etc. Creeper eggs are an important part of factions. They should be obtainable. Enemies should be able to open chests in enemy territory. But obviously not do things like break blocks. Sorry for double post can't fix because of mobile
Here is an idea. Have one world with McMMO and one with out (if that is even possible.) Boom, problem solved.
May I suggest this: McMMO should be up to a vote considering it's half & half. Also, I agree on the rest
I think we shouldn't have McMMO, purely because every factions server that has it is purely based around it. No one tries to actually raid on McMMO Factions, they just wanna get 'em stats up. Also, I may be being greedy here - but maybe if you have, I dunno, Donator+ You have the ability to mine spawners with silk touch like (like what @MrIvy said). Also, starting money.. Normal Rank: 200 Contributor: 1000 Donator 2500 VIP 5000 Premium 10,000 + Miscellaneous 1-time beacon MVP 12,500 + Miscellaneous 1-time beacon + 1 Creeper Egg Penguin 15,000 + Miscellaneous 1-time beacon + 3 Creeper Eggs /kit (just and idea ) Your gonna be thinking, woah, ain't that a bit OTT? Well, most factions servers have more starting money n' stuff. Also, I think (again @MrIvy) withers are pointless. You pretty much have a successful raid every time. I like kits because like i said factions isn't about playing survival so it gives you some starter stuff, but I don't think your kits should depend on your rank. If we do do that you should be able to Maybe buy kits with in game kash or voting tokens. I don't know if you were even implying rank kits even. This is like a ramble but basically, kits are okay if not op and non donators still have a chance of success. Kits shouldn't be so good that they make raiding unnecessary. I definitely agree we should have a starter kit and starter money but I think it should all be equal.
