The last few days, I have been looking into what is called Pre-Arcadia times, in search of cool information for Champions of BC. During this search, I found some things that were not pretty. First, I'd like to say that this is inspiration for future BC, and what will come in the next few weeks, months, and maybe years. I started my search with YouTube. I quickly came upon two channels of which had BC related things (Exclude Graser's video on DTC, Phoenix's DTC videos)). The first thing I found was MacMeBenny's channel, then came to AZZA's channel. During watching them, I heard a line AZZA said that made me both happy and sad. "We are here to make a community where everyone's opinion and welfare is valued, where we care for everyone. Staff, Member, Donator, all unite as one big group for a bigger, better server. That server is BuildCraftia." This made me happy, because it showed what AZZA truly wants for the server. All the times we've brought the server to crap, AZZA (and Matty, Quick, Mac, etc) has dealt with us, they've kept a good eye on the future, and even though they haven't been paying attention to the present, they do care. Jeez this is getting cheesy. Anyways, now to why I was sad by this. After I saw this video, I took to old forums post. From Mac's first vlog, to Yva trying to prevent a war, from BCWeekly, to the dozens of warp requests. My point is, I've noticed in the past, we haven't been very grateful for what we have. What we have may not be the best, or the biggest, but it's not the worst. Ever since Arcadia, we've recovered. We got DTC back, we opened mod-Noms, new ranks, heck, we even have an ad in MineChat (Thanks to AffectedArc07). We should be grateful for what we have, not be mad for what we don't have. We've been waiting for this miracle API since early this year, and the server has only been getting more anxious. Just hang in there, we don't have long to go. I'm sure the API is coming soon. In the meantime, I think we should work more as a community. I don't think that by making worlds or empires, we can unite a community. I learned that the wrong way. Basically, Members need to have an open mind to Donors and Staff, but keep in mind (especially you staff), everyone on BC is a part of something, a community of people working together, not just staff working together. And with that, it's time I truly announced what Champions of BuildCraftia is. Champions of BuildCraftia will be a 6 plot tribute to the community of BC. Illidan951 (AKA @Axebreaker ) has been kind enough to donate a modern build for the TimeLine section. Here is each plot- 1- BC Timeline (2011-2016) 2- Champion Center 3- Tribute Garden (Takes up 3-6 plots) The Champion Center will be home to many people, stating their name, and what their good at, with a mini statue for them.
