Suggestion New moderation system

Hi,

I've thought of a moderator system that might aid Buildcraftia.

I think it would be benificial to make a rule that states no staff member may deny a report against themselves. (E.G. Someone reported TemporarilyAlone for something and them Temp himself denied the report. This can be seen here)

Also, I think it would be good to add a system were it takes one or more staff members to accept a report against a player. E.G. If I reported MacMeBenny, Dusty could disagree with it but that would not be the final outcome as another staff member would have to agree with her to go ahead with the ban. I think this would stop the bias bans.

That report was not against myself, and was denied for the reasons stated in that post.

We had a system similar to what you described not too long ago. Every ban report had a vote (for yes or no) with most of the staff participating each time. We moved back to allowing mods to review ban appeals / reports by themselves a few weeks ago because it took far too long for anything to get done on the old system. An admin (Nappa_Terasu) also reviewed the ban reports and agreed with my descisions.
