Denied Command Block Usage

    So lately I've been in need of a few command blocks in my personal world, WordWorld. Unfortunately the amount I have isn't the full amount I want, and people like Razer and I (a bit) think it's a bit unfair that I get these. By this, I have come up with an idea. I think we could find (or maybe even create) a plugin that gives maybe MVP+ players, or maybe people with personal worlds (only to use in their worlds) limited commands such as teleportation, maybe gamemode, /give, /effect, etc. This would not include /kill, or big commands that would copy stuff in or destroy mass amount of stuff and give lag. This is just an idea I had, and I think it'd be VERY useful not only for me, but for other world owners like Bins and DrDecember.

    Gamemode isn't allowed at any point, since it bypasses VIP commands.

    I honestly thing it should only be /give and /tp as the other choices will either interfere with our current permissions or are simply too easily to be extremely abused. I also think this should only be going for MVP+ as those are typically the players who are the most committed with the server, and show it with their donations to the server.

    Its still too OP. You can use @a to tp EVERYONE to a place, or spam everyone with items.

    Maybe instead of giving it to every MVP+ we could make command blocks (restricted to certain commands) a thing that players MVP+, have to ask for instead of just having them to place whenever they like. This could reduce the abuse. It could also make it an easier way to track down which player has been abusing them (If we come across abuse of a command block) because only some players would have them not every MVP+ player.

    Also, maybe it has to be @p with a radius so you guys don't mess with players too much to the point that hate occurs.

    I have a few ideas
    Disable the @a tag
    Make @p require a radius to run
    Disable @r
    Make a gui which will automaticly do this stuff

    @r doesn't exist and I believe it is pretty much impossible to restrict tags and commands in command blocks. Making a GUI for it would be even harder.
    The best solution we have right now is simply asking the admins. And to be fair...
    Who needs command blocks other then Word?

    Razer did at Build Comp.

    Most people want to use command blocks, but either don't want to bother the admins, or were told no.

    I do since most of my roller coaster effects depend on /particle or /playsound or /effect.

    This feature is nearly impossible to make true. There's just too many ways people could use this wrong since there's literally no way to limit the usage of command blocks and the commands within. If you really want a command block for you own use, please ask the owners... If they are in a good mood they might make you one.

    If you have any more questions about why we cannot have command blocks please do contact an owner. Thread locked.
