Hey guys, there was some discussion about new features for minigames and features overall. I am here today to ask your opinion about the DTC and especially the DTC core. Which one do you prefer, the current way where you need to break the beacon inside the core to actually break the core or the old DTC way where only breaking one obsidian in the core would end the game Please leave your votes on this poll: http://strawpoll.me/4442237 We want to hear your opinion about this subject and we'll change it accordingly. Thanks already for answering and telling us your opinion. This is highly appreciated.
there should be a compas leeding to the nearest core so you know where they are when you are a noob to the game <3 Double post merged. ps im a noob to dtc xD
I did like the old way better. However, it more or less depends on the map for me. I enjoy a beacon core on average or small maps. But when they become larger and contain multiple cores, the effort to take down the cores becomes a bit much. So idk I'll vote old way.
Aside from the core, here are some things to do for DTC : - Being able to go from DTC to Creative using /server -Being able to go through walls as a spectator -Being able to message specific people in the game -Being able to tp to people as a spectator -A compass pointing to the enemy core (as suggested by Flex) - Being able to switch classes ingame via a menu of some sort, and when dying after choosing that, you will respawn as that class - Maybe having a serverwide message saying that a DTC game will begin in 30 seconds It's all I have suggestion-wise.
I think we may actually have it so where to break the core and it has to leak a certain amount of blocks (like lava has to go out of a radius). Therefore you are actually leaking the core.
Isn't the term for breaking the core 'leaking?' I personally like that idea so then one has to defend the core they broke and will add more action into the game.
Well, both of these ideas are pretty cool, but the water and lava could be blown up by the defending team by a bomber. They would simply do this by placing tnt on top of the core, and when it blows up, it just gets rid of the lava inside.
