My Leave

This has actually been the case for a long time, but thought I might as well announce it officially. After 3 years, I am leaving BC. I've gotten bored of Minecraft, and the community of BC really hasn't been how it used to be. It has devolved far past tolerance and has become a place that I generally wish to avoid nowadays. I doubt I will ever return.

It's been fun.

See ya, hope you enjoy whatever you do in life. However, I'm sick of these 'I cannot tolerate BC anymore' comments - they need to stop being the reason for people leaving as it's starting to become abused.

It is the reason many people are leaving though. There is only one thing that can't be done. Even with every possible effort with mod noms, more equal staff power, more community suggestions and stuff. You cannot bring the community back. Everyone knows that. But it is a fair reason to leave. Without a community, there is no server. People arent necessarily abusing it, it is a legitimate reason. But we can't bring the old community back

 

Agreed. However, you should probably note that the admins have seen it only about a billion times in one short sitting, and each time it's repeated makes them feel more like garbage, even though they think what they are doing is to help the community.

 

Obviously you cannot bring the community back and for most people on here - I have never even seen them before when they say "I was here when the community used to be good in 2011". A community changes and adapts - a community is a group of people with shared interests or values and therefore, it is not a fair reason to leave. A fair reason to leave would that someone has lost interest in Minecraft.

Alot of the community dislike/hate each other and just find everyone annoying....
