*DISCLAIMER: The following is somewhat of an opinion but has TRUE facts. Let's start from the beginning. BCblogs. I became one of the most popular people on the server. Once I joined I was greeted with "HI KASH!!" By everyone. I was nice, caring, socialable, etc. everyone was so friendly towards me. Probably around me 5th issue Olocool17 approached me saying "Enjoy the fame. It won't last long". I remembered that for 6 months now. When BCblogs ended stress started to happen. My dad lost his job, so we only had one person paying our bills, feeding us and paying for other stuff. My grades went down drastically. I got staff and I thought it was awesome to be so envolved with everyone and everything. I felt different. More stress piled on, I lost my girlfriend, and I was really pissed and a lot of times I took it out on others. Because of this I was warned many times by Matty and me and Matty had a horrible relationship. After Matty explained to me over a month ago on skype on how much of an ass of a staff I am I decided to leave. I realized that I turned into such a douche since when I started Staff when I was nice. Since I left me and AZZA have a hate relationship, me and Zach don't even talk and Leo I'm not sure. A lot of people dislike me because of the way I acted. And because of how much of a douche I was the Admins keep telling me that there is no way I'm coming back. Why did I leave the server? Because I HATE absolutely HATE where the server is headed. Pretty sure around 5 staff left and around 6 other people left because they agree. The server itself is okay but the community doesn't get much say. They removed Sr mod and promoted 2 moderators and all the admins to owner. Why is that stupid? They never did this when I suggested it 4-5 months ago. Okay now about Matty. I left staff and the server 50% because of him (no offense). He called me a lot of words which ADDED onto my stress which I already had and discouraged me. One day when I felt horrible and sad and depressed I came on the server, I was kicked of my survival team. I don't know why but I closed my shop and felt like just leaving. Matty said something so I just stopped talking to everyone. Matty then says something when I talked; "Hey it's alive!". One word 'it'. Also I think it's stupid that Matty can just LEAVE for a couple of months but still keep his rank. I can't just say "Hey I'm leaving for a couple of months but keep my rank here". I would of loved doing that but that was not an option for me. I would have to leave or eventually get fired. What I mean is that Matty gets to leave for a couple of months and still keep his rank while I can't say that I'm leaving for a couple of months and still keep my rank. Next Matty stated that he's been here for around 3 years. Um, no you haven't. Before around over a year ago I've never seen you on the server and I've been here for bout 3 years. Rumor has it that you and AZZA came from another server then just got promoted. Why did you just get promoted? *Only opinions and facts I'm sad the way everything is turning out. Hopefully everything will change.. Get better.. Become a community server instead of a staff server. Oh and I don't want any hate comments- you feed the fire
Preach it, Kash. I'd agree, but I don't want to sound like a "Traditionalist BuildCraftian" where they want everything back to the way it was before Arcadia. But at the same time, I don't want to sound like a "New BuildCraftian" where they want everything how it is at its current state. Old BuildCraftia was great, and so is "Post-Arcadia" BuildCraftia. Can't we have a compromise for both?
Whale, i have much to say to this. I think i honestly made a wrong impression when i went out. My anger i have to admit was more concentated at azza and how some things were run. However, that being said, i think the overall message has gotten across that bc needs to get its shit together. And i have to admit, the admins have done a fucking good job at making it more community, with the help of the other staff & community of course. I think that some things cant be changed over night, we all know that, and many things still need to improve. But my opinions have been swayed much. Ive even considered coming back to staff when the time is right (mid - late summer if i do come back, but only a thought, not a guarentee, they may not even want me back ). But i just hope this lasts, and it isnt a couple month thing
