Most of you have probably heard of Sky Block where you survive in a sky block completing different kinds of achievements and trying to build your own place as cool as possible. Build your cobblestone generator, expand your island... you know how it goes. Lovely type of a game. With Sky Chunk, not just there is going to be a small island you can use but a whole chunk! Minecraft chunk is a 16 by 16 by 256 area, which is a piece of Minecraft terrain. There would be, as always, ores, water, lava, monsters, caves... whatever you can find in a normal chunk! We could always add some random chests that spawn in your chunk and of course there will be an item shop somewhere in the Sky Chunk server. We'd have the same rules and probably the same objectives as in Sky Block, but this way it's going to have chunks o' goodness! Tell me what do you think of this and should we make it into a game? It's a really old gamemode and it'd be awesome to bring it back to life!
Yes, and that's why it's so much better than just Sky Block. You get more freedom and more space to work with.
I think this would be an awesome idea Azza, just one question though; would you be able to join up with other players with a command and help them on their island? If so I think this would be a super fun game to play!
Yeah, that would be cool! Another question, could the chunks possibly have a dungeon in it? Or maybe a temple? And what if the chunk was just water?
me like. but maybe, another thing people could do is bridge out farther using blocks they have, aka, expanding. Another thing is maybe custom islands with more ores, but they cost in game currency, once a person is well experienced on sky chunk. Idk, just ideas I have. I love the idea though. I cant wait for this!
