As many of you older members recall, there once was a BEAUTIFUL paintball server we had. All the maps were amazing (*cough* except Moon *cough*). Everything was balanced as well! (Because everyone had the same kits and could buy the same stuff). This may leave many wondering why we ever left this paintball plugin. It is a question I do not know the answer to, thus why I am proposing the idea; bring back the old paintball server. Multiple players whom I have asked would love to have the paintball server back. Not only does it require skill, but it also creates a level playing field for all members who play! Everyone has access to the same weapons/ammo, and everyone has the same chance to succeed in this game. But, I also understand some people prefer the newer paintball, so I suggest two separate paintball servers. It would get more people into playing our minigames, and please both parties. Furthermore, the old paintball was more competitive since there were actual statistics for everyone and rankings, similar to the baltop on survival. Since there is no true end to paintball, the server would hopefully be in constant use. Also, the old paintball server only required two players to begin, so it would cut down on the amount of people desperately trying to get 8 players just to play a round of paintball. - ahem - It wasn't just a separate server, it was simply a mini game server where Paintball was part of it, the one place where there was fair balance between us in paintball. Although, having old paintball back would be very nice because the current version of paintball does not exactly rely on skill, it relies more on luck on choosing the correct kit in the correct map, while as the original paintball relied on skill due to the fact that it was always the same, so all can focus on the same way of being killed, instead of one simply getting destroyed because of being stuck with an opponent that has a shot gun while you have a rifle, when the shot gun has the 1 hit kill. Sorry if I seem biased a little.
Oh here, shotgun in real life is a one shot kill close up, all ye saying "shotgun is op" well it is in real life, so it makes sense in game..
Shouldn't all kits be equal and fair so one kit does not clearly have an advantage over the others so there can be equality? Jesus, I sound like I want communism involved into mini games. (For those who do not know, a communist country is not when a country is corrupt, but when everyone has equal power and equal everything.)
It doesn't matter that a shotgun is "one hit kill irl", all guns can be. The problem with shotgun is that it takes 2-3 pellets to kill and it shoots 6-8. Any within 10 blocks is basically screwed and has no chance
