    Hello.
Over the past several weeks my computer has been having some major issues. If anyone has any ideas for a solution input would be greatly appreciated.

Problem: My computer shuts off without warning and I am only able to use it for like 3 minutes before it does this.

It started off happening every few hours, but now it happens so fast it renders my computer pretty much unusable.

I am 95% sure it is not overheating as it has plenty of circulation and my fans are running fine. If it was overheating it should be able to work longer after it cools down but doesn't.

I get no warning or error before the computer shuts off. It just does.

If anyone has any educated suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

First of all, its good to check if your Power Supply is going to the scrapyard.

Try to perform a virus scan as there probably are viruses which program your PC to shut down after a certain time

From what I know, it could be dust gathered inside playing tricks on you.
Same thing happened with my old laptop, and a good dust cleaning helped tremendously.
So, if you can, dust the insides of your PC if you can, may not fix it but it'll help anyways.

I did a couple weeks ago and I'm clean. I've already tried that thanks for the input anyway.

A month or so ago I opened up my case and cleaned it out. Thinking this could be the issue again I looked about a week ago and my insides are clean.

Yeah I was thinking it could be my power supply. If I can't find any other solutions I was planning on replacing it. I looked at it on my computer though and it seems fine but someone told me it'd be worth replacing just in case.

Edit: I'm getting a new power supply. Considering this is the only possible solution I have at the moment, I might as well try it.

Yeh i would start cleaning it out if the performance doesnt improve it could be a different part like the CPU which might have been damaged or something if the heat sync (the giant fan infront of CPU) is broken or might be clogged up. PC MAINTANCE IS KEY TO LIFE SUCCESS :D Hope this helps
