Hello one and all to the Book Buddies page!
Fangirls and boys (do you exist? I hope so) it is your time to shine, for on this very day, a thread has been made for your enjoyment and a way to explore the wonders of beautiful words all wrapped in paper and cardboard or also known as books.
    -
Now before I explain, this isn't just for Fangirls and Fanboys, oh no, it's for book enthusists, book lovers, fandom captains, leaders, and generals. Welcome my children, to your dreams....
    -
Alright let's begin. Basically, what this thread is for is to share books with your friends. Did you like the book? What did you think of it? Would you recommend it? Go nuts. Give reviews but please NO SPOILERS for our friends that haven't read that book.
    -
List some books you enjoyed that others might like as well. Also! If you like any quotes from books you can post them here too! No debates please guys, everyone has their own preferences so nu judgie <3
Hope you have fun! I will start off with:
At the moment I am reading Blood of Olympus again because I loved it the first time. If you ever have a chance to check out the Percy Jackson + Heros of Olympus series you should! Not a waste of time!!

    Your Book Buddy,
    Bubbles :3
Ps. You can ALSO post fandom art here too! (Yey)

I've needed a thread like this forever

    Favorite books:

    (In order of favorite)
    1) Kringle - Tony Abbott
-Absolutely amazing book, my favorite about the legend of christmas, would recomment to any lovers of christmas or fantasy fiction
    2)Harry Potter - JK Rowling
-No description needed. Hands down most famous book series ever.
3)The Inheritance Cycle series - Christopher Paolini
-Great series, recommend it for any fantasy lovers
    4) The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
-Tells the story of a girl in nazi germany, ends well. Favorite book out more serious types of books
5)Between Shades of Grey - Ruta Sepetys
-Great non-fiction book about a lithuanian girl during world war 2, recommend only for mature readers since it gets a bit graphic, and tells war how it is.

There's more but I can't remember off the top of my head. If anything read Kringle cause it's the best christmasy book I've ever read. Actually so much that I've read it ever christmas for the past 5 years.

Recently I read Sold by Patricia McCormick. It is a dark but enlightening story teaching about human trafficing and girls being sold into prostitution in the Middle East. I liked the book because it made me realize the horrors in modern day.

Great review and list Miner! I have also read Harry Potter, The Book Thief, and The Inheritance Cycle series! Great books! I will also look into the ones you suggested! Thanks so much!

Honestly modern books are awesome, not only portraying images and views of this world, but we can learn from history and try to put a stop to things that are hurting the world. Thank you for such a great review! I am really interested now, I will be sure to check that book out!

Thanks Jer! Hunger games today. Hunger games tomorrow. Hunger games forever. Preach preach! :3

Waht, that's weird. Yeah they're different, the author has a beard and looks like the guy from the Dos Equis commercials saying "Stay thirsty my friends"

In year 8 in English my class read this book called Private Peaceful. The book is based in one of the World Wars and is a story about 2 brothers. The eldest one went to war first and came back to marry the character Mollie that his younger brother fancied. As there was a gap they got married and she became pregnant. After that both of them went it to war and I'm not going to spoil the ending for you.

It is a really good book and I do recommend it.

idk if this counts because it's more of a series of comic strips, but I love Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts. I almost have the whole collectors series lol.

    Books...

I read quite a lot of stuff, mostly boring stuff about programming but of course I also read books like the HG, Harry Potter, all the things. Quite like historic books as well (not the school/university ones but the interesting ones obviously).

I am into the Cherub book series by Robert Muchamore. I am currently reading the first book in the second Cherub series- People Republic. The cherub books are fast paced and they are about teenagers under cover doing secret missions for the government. Brilliant series, if you like books like this I would definitely pick one up and read it!

Right now I'm reading the Enclave Series :3 It is an amazing book and I would recommend it to any Hunger Games, and Divergent lovers! I am currently on the third book Horde and it is amazing! I'm nearly finished the book, and I have loved it. Outpost is the second book and in my opinion is got a little slow, but not too bad ^=^. The author of these books is named, Ann Aguirre. Figured I would tell you incase anyone went looking for it :3.

    I have also loved the
Arclight book! It only has two book so far and I just currently got the second book named, Meridian. I can't say anything about Meridian for I haven't read it, but Arclight was amazing! It was definitely a great book and I would recommend it :3. The author of these books is named, Josin L. Mcquein.

    Another book called,
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. I read this book a few years ago when I was younger and I just remember loving this book. It was a really sweet, delightful book, and I remember having a good laugh every now and then reading it :3. I would recommend this for mainly girls, but boys can give it a go if they please! The author of this book is, Beth Hoffman.

Ok this is my last one :3. This book was just incredible. It's about 9/11, and is just... amazing. It's called,
We All Fall Down. The author is, Eric Walters. It's really such a fascinating book and I highly recommend it.

    Happy Reading! :3
