YESSS ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER DUMB MINIGAME IDEA BY NAPKIN! So Mario kart. It's pretty fun. If you haven't played it you race in little karts against Nintendo characters and you can find question boxes which if you collide with, will give you power ups you can use to either benefit you, or give your opponents a disadvantage, depending on the power up you get. Concept: So due to "minecrafts limitations"(correct if you know that I'm full of feces for saying that) you would be racing in boats on water trying to get first place by taking down your opponents with special power ups. You win by being the first player to pass the finish line. Boats: I do not know the possibilities of anything I am about to say because I don't code for a living, but here we go; Specifically for this game, boats cannot break by collision with blocks, other boats, or any players fist. Should a players boat be destroyed by a power up attack, a couple of seconds after the damage has been done, the players who's boat broke will get a new boat that appears in their inventory which they can place and ride again. Other players should not be able to "boat jack" as long as they are riding their own boat but idk the possibilities of that either. Power ups: Power ups are the key to winning the race alongside navigation. Power ups would be weapons like arrows and swords, which you would use to attack your opponents and hopefully break their boats, which would temporarily slow them down. Just like in the DTC Map "Avalanche", where the TNT item is spawned in the middle, the same thing would occur with these power ups in select locations. After somebody takes the item, another random weapon that's in the game will spawn in its place. The amount of power ups in ones inventory should be limited to one, however if that is not possible, I don't think it be too unfair having an inventory full of power ups. (Items like swords would be single use, bows would be like creative where they don't need arrows in inventory to shoot them but will have limited usage, snowballs and other thrown projectiles would work as they do in survival, etc.) Extras: Movement does not occur until the race starts so players are locked in starting position until the timer says "Go!" Would be a map game, where maps are eye pleasing and easy and fun enough for a smooth fast race First, second, and third place get extra crystals with reasonable values accordingly, everyone else gets participation crystals. 6 min players and 8 max players. I'm sure some other server has something similar to this, but I think that a high speed action game would be fun and heart racing enough for players to want to come back. <----- and that's exactly what BC wants.
But you would constantly need to retame new ones cuz you are always getting beat with power ups and it would just take a long time, right? The old one was just a simple boat race though. This one would be explosively fun. We could probably make a test track for it because drops are enabled nowadays.
Totattly unrelated - Thing that sucks is that in the DTC map Avalanche is that there are suppose to be Mob Spawners that spawn TNT and shoot at each-other and the TNT in the middle is suppose to respawn - but oh well! XD
Also unrelated but is that why it's called Avalanche? Because everything eventually would crumble down?
