1)Not really, my brother, Kash, has a laptop of his own. He has dropped it a few times, but it hasn't broke in any way. With the MacBook, tho, the screen durability has been downgraded -1, so you have a better chance of breaking it, as seen in a few of Apple's products 2)Still, CPU-heavy+High Screen Resloution=Worse battery life. CPU-heavy+Lower screen resolution=not as bad battery life. thats life 3)Look at the facts, on the internet. it doesn't matter if its that much money. I could literally buy a $600 pc thats better than the macbook 4)I was being sarcastic on being "the world record". Plus apple's retina display is also getting outdated, as seen on the iPhone 6, and the Galaxy devices, and every other big phone company is getting better screen resolutions, even with the laptops now 5)There are still computers out there with better hardware than the macbook, and still is better overall the the macbook, trust me 6)Sure, high screen resolutions do help, but your a gamer, not a graphic designer. Thats what the iMac is for. And why would you need to NOT see the pixels, especially on Minecraft? Or any other game? Youre literally sitting half a foot away from your computer screen, you can't see the pixels from there(unless your an alien) 7)Yes, you could get better hardware, but there still are companies that make their things affordable, and include dual-band wireless, SSD, and their OS is better than iOS. #I'mBetter
1) None of the Mac's I've seen dropped broke. 2) CPU-Heavy + High Resolution + Big Battery = Good Battery life. You know, many modern Windows laptops also have high end displays, so it's not really an "Apple only" thing. 3) You could get a desktop for $600 that is better, sure. But the price to performance for Macs vs PC laptops is not that severe. We're arguing laptops here, not desktops. 4) And that's why they will probably be updated to 4K next generation. Retina was kind of the start of the UHD era. 5) The way they look is all on taste, as for hardware quality, getting high quality hardware with the feature-set you want will not cause the price to be much different than a similar MacBook. 6) I do a fair bit of graphic design, mind you. Also, I can see the pixels on my cheap Windows laptop easily. Having a crisper game makes the game more immersive. It does help with eye strain a bit as well. 7) I looked at the HP equivalent of a MacBook. It didn't even offer dual-band wireless and was plastic. It did come with an SSD, but was SATA based, not PCI-e. The price of the HP was only $100 cheaper than the Mac, and that didn't include any security software, office suite, or a decent wireless card. Link me to a laptop with similar specs to a Macbook that is "fraction of a cost" and then we shall see.
It's dual-boot, a.k.a. bootcamp on Mac. Correct me if I'm wrong, steeza. Remember how I had windows and Linux on my computer at one point? Same thing with this pretty much, but less "hacky".
You can have 2 operating systems on one computer, and pick between the two. Windows is an Operating system Linux is an Operating system Mac OS is an Operating system
You partition your hard drive, which is basically like splitting it up. So computers read it as 2 separate drives, when it's really just one.
