Flags mean nothing, they're just a bunch of shapes arranged on a rectangle. Just a piece of cloth. The only reason people get 'offended' when a flag is burned is because they've grown up being taught that they should be proud of their shitpot country; proud of things they've never done in the name of the country; hate on foreigners they've never met etc. There are no repercussions whatsoever by burning a flag (apart from some naaaassty smoke), and after all, it's freedom of expression. The fact that kids across America pledge their allegiance to a fucking piece of cloth every day is hilarious imo. ... but just as a side note I would totally agree to this being the UK flag if I could, because a) it's the best flag design I've seen visually and b) sick bantz innit

They're not always based on statistical data though. For example, many people say that illegal immigrants are more likely to commit crimes, but that is false. According to the 2010 census, 1.6% of foreign born males are in jail, compared to the 3.3% of the native-born population that is in jail. So please, explain to me how stereotypes are always based on statistical data.
I don't have much to contribute here as @PhoenixStudios and @JeremyC have pretty much summed up my opinions, but I would nevertheless state that I am very proud to see that so far this thread has been pretty civilized and that people here have genuine options on this.
