id actually like to see wind effects and better shadows (that doesnt aquire great pc abelities) like ik theres shaders, but they could do storms so it would be harder to move in a storm or just organic things will move with the wind.
id also wish they would add so you could mix 2 slabs together (examble stone and wood) and add log textured fences and "walls"(like the stonewalls)
and bring back metadata.

and it would be cool with vertical slabs.

birds, or just nature sounds in general
grass slab
bushes (a plant that is like the double plants(peony and roses)
mountain chain biome, like real mountains and not extreme hill mountains
sharks
fish
turtles
more neutral mobs in general

add iceicles that would work as cobweb
add chains and rope, and hook's
let leather hang on a hook
add more plants as i said befopore, bushes, and cherry trees, berry bushes
add a randomizer for redstone, which sends a signal to a random side of the block
add achievements with rewards as in items or xp
add custom bed so you can have a bed without anything on it or with madress, pillow and blanket, and like banners, without madress, pillow and blanket you wouldnt be able to sleep as long as with a complete bed
add chairs
add cabinets
add shelfs
add fossils (youll gain bones for digging/mining the dirt/sand/stone/sandstrone blocks)
add more mobs in nether
smarten the villager AI
add more villager versions (example builder, miner, tree cutter, knight/guard, sales man, fisher man)
add so villagers will expand their city when you trade with them, and let them upgrade their buildings, and build more stucktures
corals (like flowers but under water basically)
remove airpockets in stairs, slabs, signs, ladder ect, under water and lava
add snowstone(stone with bits of snow on it)
add icecobblestone, snow cobblestone (like mossycoblestone)
add ice/snow stonebrick (like mossy stone brick)
add mossy/ice/snow stonebrick/cobblestone stairs/slabs/walls
add all blocks of pressure plates and buttons for traps and hidden stuff
add fishing net /can be added to a boat or in the water at the shore
add water monster

add whales, crabs and other sea creatures
add sucken ships and ruined cities under water ofc
add fallen castles/forts/other buildings where mobs will spawn to protect the loot in the structure
add campfire
add hydration meter as another healthbar
add fresh water (would be clear where the saltwater would be more green/blue depending on the biome
add cold and warmth meter, you can bee too cold if you are so your hunger meter will go down faster, so use campfire to warmth, or furnace or fire
add candles candles has more of a dim light than the torch but better than restone torch but is easier to make (wax from a flower which will appear almost everywhere, and string)
add backpack (crafted by 2 string and 6 wool) another "page" of enventory, but at death youll drop your backpack which will stand where you died
seasons (grass and leaves will turn green -> yellow -> orange -> brown -> brown/green -> repeat) (flowers will die in winter/fall and bloom in spring/summer)
