"By The Bond Of Redstone, United We Shall Stand" Hey, I decided to make a "Redstone Empire" History thread. This is pretty long, spans across 4 Empires total, 2 worlds, and 7 resets. We have 2 entire years to cover, so lets get started. June 13, 2014- BuildCraftia Creative- Wordguy345 On this day, I rejoined BC. The community was in shambles. Everything was destroyed, besides a few pieces of what I could gather about the "Arcadia" that had passed. On this day, I decided the build a Town. More than that, a community. My goal was to build a community where there wasn't one. My goal was to reunite BuildCraftia. I started by making a small plot. It had a Hotel, a Church, a Pool, a Treehouse, and a few other things. I was extremely proud of it, and so were the friends that had helped me. We decided to call it "The Redstone Empire". The friends I met during this early stages are: Buterlover951 WynnPhoenix 46484648 JhoefSwag (Currently Banned) And Sudaiys. It was a huge deal when we expanded to a second plot. The first plot was all gravel, but the new one, we decided, would be a city. We decided to call it "Blocktropica". It had a Starbucks, a Library, a Subway System, and a Parking Garage. I was so proud of this. We we're actually starting to make a community. It was fun. Eventually, time passed and I grew the Empire to 5 plots. They consisted of the Original Plot, Blocktropica, "Funland", Housing, and a Tree. The tree was huge, and was Sud's home. We spent ages building it, and met new friends (Like Daylan29) during it. The tree became such a big deal, most people remember it today as "The Alliance Tree V1", which is a story for another day. Anyways, the RE was a sign (in my opinion) that BuildCraftia would be united. We came together from nothing, a group of MEMBERS, and built it. July 1, 2014 This was the day the Redstone Empire truly fell. We were griefed, and I had no idea about Rollback. I cleared the plots, and half of the community dropped out. The only three left standing were me, Buter, and Sud. The trio. So we decided, on that day, to make a new plot. A new town. Shining brighter than any before. We started: The Iron Empire. July 4, 2014 I finally got the Contributor Rank. We began growing in ranks, and the Iron Empire's size, to an eventual 30 PLOTS. We had builders everywhere. Players were returning from Arcadia, and joining the Iron Empire. In this time, we went through several resets, clearings, etc. In the end, there were (I believe) 5 Versions of the IE. I personally remember the 3rd one the best, because there was a /Warp IronEmpire for about a month. The plots had an arena, houses, shops, a pet race, a hospital, a city district, basically everything. The trio began falling apart, however. Sud went off to go make an "Alliance Tree" after I destroyed the last one, and Buter was working on the Iron Horde. I had new friends, but I lost my old ones. October (Something), 2014 I was an MVP, feeling high and mighty in my 50 plot Empire, when suddenly, an Army showed up. They wanted to destroy the Iron Empire, and we went to war. The player controlling the armada eventually was revealed to be Olocool17, but only after the Iron Empire fell. I sat in the ashes of my fallen Empire. Surrounded by hate. Surrounded by an army. I felt like I had everything. But I lost everything, too. December 2014- I finally rebuilt up the ashes of the IE, and made a new Empire. The Redwood Empire. It consisted of only 20 plots, but I remember this so well because NapkinDabber donated a tree, and Wolfie and I made "Our Backyard" (V1). Sud has fully left the Empire, and Buter helped, but wasn't that active. At this time, I met Marx, TNT, and a lot of other friends. We role played ALOT, and had tons of fun here, but I finally decided to buy a personal world. January 5, 2015- "WordWorld" we had decided. It was on a snowy-plains, with mountains surrounding the spawn. It was ugly, but it was fun. This world only last a day because Daedalus attempted pasting a town into the world, which caused massive glitches. The reset led to a better, GRASS world. We went through 3-4 resets. Redstonia was made, The Dragon Caves came and went. Nothing could ever change the fact that we were having fun, though. We changed the world so many times I can't even remember. But, I had friends. That was all that mattered. August 2, 2015- The final reset. I'd given up "WordWorld", and I had 2 worlds now. I decided it was time to go back to something old, something fun. I decided to resurrect the Redstone Empire. We worked and worked and worked. Making the world PERFECT, and we truly succeeded. February 15, 2015- The RE shines bright, over 42 players added to the whitelist. Infinite land (TIMES TWO), and more friends than I can count. I've met tons of friends along this journey, and I will never forget a single one. Thanks for this journey, guys. I save my receipts so I remember when I got Penguin, Contrib, etc. The RE and IE and WW reset days were really major, so it's not really that hard to remember the day.
I must point out that infinity isn't a number, meaning it can't be multiplied. Infinity is a size, a size that has no ending and can not be measured. You could say that you have two worlds with infinite borders. Other than that, nice history thread.
I think Buildcraftia in general is a Soap Opera, you know? All those people "leaving" only to come back the next week. Kind of similar to the people in Soap Operas who die then come back to life
