Hi, I'm Cyril, and yes, I do know there has already been a post on this, but I would like to explain it in a little more depth seeing as I was the one to come up with the idea.

    How to Play

DeathRun will consist of a group of 6 or so players, and at the beginning of the game, one of those players will be elected to be 'Death'. Death is the enemy of the game, and tries to stop the other 'runners' from completing the course by activating traps to stop them (lava, arrows, blocks etc). To win the game, the runners must successfully get past every trap without dying in a certain amount of time. If they fail to do this, the victory will be given to 'Death'. This does not mean all the runners have to finish the course, though. if only one runner finishes the course, they will be the only winner!

    _________

Personally, I love this game and would love it to be added to BCSN, as I think most players will like it. I have already started making a map and in which both players and staff have enjoyed. Most people think it is a great idea, and are most enthusiastic about it. I have one slight problem, though. As you may know, from playing on other servers, DeathRun is a game highly about Command Blocks. This means that players would be able to design a map, but not be able to design the traps, as we are limited to designing them with only redstone. I would think that the best way round this is to have the players tell the Admins what traps to put where on the map, because I think, when making a DeathRun map, most of the fun is in creating the traps, but I don't know.

To give this thread support so this game can be added, please help out by maybe voicing you opinion down below. There will be a poll up top for you to vote on. I really think adding this could be a great idea on BCSN, and I hope you staff will agree.

    Little Bonus
Whilst creating a demo map, I found out a glitch that may be vital to players whilst playing DeathRun. When arrows are shot out of a dispenser and hit a player, they do not deal the player any damage. Just wondering if you could fix this.

    Suggestions For Traps

    Disappearing Blocks
There could be a Parkour course, and suddenly, when 'Death' activates the trap, the blocks would disappear.

    Fire, FIRE
When 'Death' activates this trap, fire/water (make water so it kills you) could come from the ceiling and kill you.

    Arrows, and fire >:)
Arrows? Fire? FIRE ARROWS! Out come fire arrows from a dispenser that burns the runner to his death.

    Pistons
Pistons come out from beneath you, and launch you up into oblivion!

    Blocking
Your doing some nice easy parkour, when a wall comes out to block you from the next jump, and you fall into the void.

    Falling Blocks
Your walking along a platform, when it just... just... disappears!

    Jump boost (Suggested by @AlexsaurusRex)
Jumping up, and up, and up!

ALL TRAPS SHOULD BE A ONE HIT KILL AND WHEN SOMEONE DIES, IT SHOULD SHOW UP IN CHAT.

We could put our own twist on it to make it ours, like maybe running from NPC penguins or some shit

No offence, but this isn't original. It's basically just DeathRun from the Hive (NOT ADVERTISING, If staff has a problem, I'll remove the name), in fact, it IS DeathRun.

Maybe add our own spin, rather than a direct copy?
