So recently as everyone knows, Temp and Ken were demoted. Now, both of them got penguin. Me and a few other former staff (not all by any means) feel a little cheated that we got MVP and they got penguin. I'm curious as to why they got penguin over us? Ken and temp did serve on the staff body for a long time, longer than most of us. But, many did serve on staff team for a good while as well. And Ken and Temp did not donate for penguin to my knowledge. So I guess it kind is a little dissapointing that they got penguin and we didn't. I know it is kind of hard to give like 10 people penguin. Its a big donor rank. But possibly consider handing it out? Thank you for considering this.
temporarilyalone was given penguin because he had penguin before his mod time. Whether Ken should have received MVP or not is of course more questionable, however I feel like it was appropriate as he is pretty much the longest time staff member we had. I hope this clears up some confusion.
All former staff members should get Penguin. Giving something to 2 people and then refusing to give it to the majority is unjustifiable imo...
We cannot unfortunately give everybody penguin as we can only support a limited amount of worlds. If you all feel better I will demote Ken back to MVP.
If we gave out penguin to every past staff member there wouldn't really be a point apart from the fact that the were staff. Temp already had penguin so that's beyond it but Ken was staff for almost 4 years and didn't give up. So personally I don't think that people who may have been staff for 4 months for example should get the same, if they did incredible things in that 4 months then it's understandable but it's not a mandatory thing, Ken got it because he deserved it and it was a thank you gift. Don't get me wrong we are thankful for everything past staff members have done and we are grateful for it. But in actual fact I haven't heard anything that Ken has said against the server and he has always kept up a professional front, whereas these past staff members you want to get penguin, most have slammed the server and I know a great deal have from things I've seen, I'm not saying they all have but few have. I second this.
Sorry Quick, I didn't factor in the world thing. Demoting Ken isn't necessary and should be out of the question. I understand now. Having been a retired staff, it's frustrating as hell when they're generalised into a single category And then people wonder why they slam the server in the first place... But yeah, alright, I see what you're saying nonetheless. Case clooooosed.
