The Donator Rule

The Donator Rule- It states that one whom is a donator may not use WorldEdit for member(s) who do not have the right to using the certain command. For example, VIP's can't use //sphere for Contributors. However, though this is a highly known rule, there is a group of people looking to bypass the new BC Rules, and I believe this is one. I understand that one may say 'Oh it's in the terms of usage'. I decided to quickly open the terms of use, and it came out as the following:

Specific restrictions of use

The BuildCraftia name and logo is copyright. Other names and marks used in the site may be similarly protected. BuildCraftia is constantly developing new material and where appropriate claims copyright over such names and marks in whatever medium they are shown or transmitted. The BuildCraftia, logo, associated devices and content are the property of BuildCraftia and similarly protected.

Purchases

We wish to draw your attention to the following conditions when making a purchase of virtual goods or other goods and services, collectively referred to as “The Goods” or “Goods”. “BuildCraftia” is the entity authorised to sell such Goods and this entity includes all such domains and servers belonging to BuildCraftia.


1. The Goods will be sold as described on the web shop page. BuildCraftia does not offer, warrant or otherwise guarantee any other services or additional aspects of the product.

2. BuildCraftia does not offer refunds of any kind, for whatever reason including the removal of server or plugins providing a service, save where, within a 72 hour period following purchase, BuildCraftia fails to provide the Goods as described on the web shop page. In this, and only in this case the purchaser has the right to claim a refund from BuildCraftia.

3. If the purchase comes from a PayPal account or other such account other than that of the buyer, permission from the owner of that account must be granted before making a purchase.

4. BuildCraftia reserves the right to withdraw services, or ultimately ban any individual or any group of individuals reasonably suspected of making fraudulent purchases from a PayPal account, or any other account that is not theirs.

5. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian, in the case of a minor, to monitor and control purchases. Refunds will not be made to any party, for whatever reason, in the case of a purchase from BuildCraftia without the approval of the parent or legal guardian of the minor who has made the purchase. For clarity, the definition of a minor will be one that is currently legally accepted in the jurisdiction from where the purchase originated. In the event of a dispute BuildCraftia’s decision is final.

6. For whatever reason, even in the case of late or non-delivery of the Goods, refunds will not be made to site users who have been banned from the website or servers belonging to BuildCraftia.

7. It is the responsibility of the player to provide all the requested information necessary to play or otherwise participate in BuildCraftia services.

Disclaimer
The materials on BuildCraftia’s website and Minecraft server are provided “as is”. BuildCraftia makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, BuildCraftia does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

Limitations

As you can see, there is no information regarding the donator rule, nor is there in the BC Rules.

I suggest you fix this before people abuse this loophole.

 

I checked the terms of use as your were logging off, so I couldn't inform you of what I found. I had based my information off of previous staff encounters where players such as FatherFan (as an Admin) told me that in no way are you allowed to world edit onto a member's plot, even if you gain from it.

Cyril is a perfect example of an earlier statement: People are attempting to loophole the situation to break what should be a BC rule, but is known as an unspoken rule. It can't apply because not everyone realizes it.
