Hi,


I think I was banned under misconception. I had been reported by @SirRazerlyte for calling my friend a "fag", when it had nothing to do with SirRazerlyte in the first place. Also, prior to me calling my friend a "fag" as a joke, SirRazerlyte actually called me a "dumbass", which can the evidence can be found here. The chat log of SirRazerlyte calling me a dumbass can also be found here.


Furthermore, calling someone an asshole is addressing me in a disrespectful manner, which is a violation of the same rule I broke. Using one of my inside sources, who would prefer to stay anonymous, they have confirmed that SirRazerlyte has received no punishment for his actions.


After playing on the server for nearly four years now, I always remember equality being a main factor on the server. Therefore, if I receive a one week ban for breaking the disrespecting other players rule, and SirRazerlyte who also broke the same rule receives no ban (bearing in mind that SirRazerlyte has been banned before), that doesn't seem like the equality I'd expect from this server.


I have believe that SirRazerlyte hasn't received any punishment for breaking a rule for two reasons.

1. He was a previous staff member
   
   
2. He has donated $75 to the server

All of these reasons are basically showing how the moderation system can be corrupt and only requires one staff member to push a ban onto another player (making it easy for someone who is close friends with a staff member persuade that staff member to ban someone).


Therefore, if you can be me for a week under those grounds, to achieve equality in the server you either have to:

1. Ban SirRazerlyte for a week
   
   
2. Unban me and forget about the matter.

First let me address this fact; I was not directly a part of this. I am, however, a friend of iHamzz and felt like investigating on his behalf. Now I was not even aware of this until I was contacted by iHamzz earlier this afternoon regarding his banning from the server for a week. I was genuinely surprised by this and was curious about details. I heard his side of the story and then decided to question the banning official, Dusty, regarding her side. The only response I could get was "He was rude" or "Check the forum for further details". I then proceeded to check and saw nothing other than the blatant disrespect of iHamzz as well as clear bias in favor of the ban. The evidence provided was one sided and neglected to even do so much as consider the possible reason behind iHamzz's disrespect. Now as I said, i'm not a part of this. But I do feel that there is some more to consider in this appeal as the evidence provided by iHamzz is just as valid as that of Razer.

I understand that I am not supposed to post not appeals or reports but I need to point this out. If you here been Temporarily Banned, you can not make an appeal. The website to see how long your ban lasts can be found here

 

You should let a moderator address the situation. Although you have a point, it's important to note that this ban is of a considerable amount of time and is also, by certain standards, unjust. Especially considering you aren't remotely part of the situation.

 

I understand that is a moderators job but I just wanted to get the point out. I also understand that I wasn't part of the situation but I also understand this is a temporary ban. Now I'm just gonna keep quiet. This is the moderators job

 

right heres what I saw:
Both hamzz and razer being dickheads to eachother:
In what way?
Razer on the server saying stuff like your a dumbass
Hammz on the forums being so overly formal that it was so cocky

Now whether hammz should have been banned or not is not up to me. I thought hammz and his friend should have used private chat to use their insults towards eachother to avoid a misunderstanding like this. But they didn't. Thats their problem.

So really what needs to happen is this:
Lower the ban on hammz and his friend to 3 days a-piece
Add a ban on razer for a day

No bias against either of the two, but thats what I think should happen after I looked at the supplied evidence

EDIT:
Saying things like "To achive equality on the server you have to unban me or ban razer" is completly irrational.

I'm wondering why you think me saying that was irrational? From my perspective, it seems completely rational.

Also, what's the reasoning for the inconsistancies in the bans? E.G. What did I do that Razer did not?

Thanks for making a ban appeal, but as you may know, since it was only a temporary ban, you can't make an appeal. The reason you were banned and Razer was not was due to the fact that I had already given you MULTIPLE warnings to not disrespect other players. As a result, these multiple warnings and you not stopping disrespect towards other players resulted in your ban. I hope despite the fact that you are banned that you will have a great day!
