It's pretty self-explanatory and hopefully all of you know what CTF is, but in case you don't, here's a brief synopsis of it. There's two teams - red and blue, like any other game - and each team has their own flag. Red has a red flag, blue has a blue flag. Each team tries to run over to get to the other side and steal the flag AND run it back without being killed. There's no, like, half-way point that you can cross and you're safe. Nope, you have to run it all the way back to your flag's home. If you get killed while running back, the other team gets their flag back. The first game of CTF I ever played the flags were wool and you had to break it, run it back, and place it on a post back at your spawn or somewhere around there. Sometimes there's two different flag rooms. Anyway so that's the game of CTF. Also, don't think you can hide from people when you have the flag. It'll say something like "yvagary has captured the red team's flag!" so you better hippity hop the fuck out of there.
It should be that when you are killed while having the flag, you drop the flag. The flag will stay there for maybe 20-30 seconds. Teammates can pick the flag back up in that time.
Just imagine a map with a large ravine in the middle where players are sniping back and forth accross it as well as sprinting accross a prebuilt bridge. I like the day but many other servers have it so there really should be something unique in our version.
Very overused on servers, and basically DTC is a version of CTF with a unique twist, though imagine a huge group of four teams rushing each other trying to get their flag, and after a 5 minute timer or so, the team with the most flags wins. This is a game on Hypixel, but could still be fun. Mineplex not Hypixel, sorry. Also sorry if this seems like ads, but I just wanted to state the server
