Minecraft Hacked?

    So this morning I come online, and I'm blocked at my first attempt to login to BC. On my second attempt it works, and I am informed of an attack that occurred on several servers this morning. All was well, was long as one did not log off. Later, I checked Minecraft.net, and discovered Minecraft itself was down due to the hack. I just wanted to inform people that you may not be able to access BCSN or any other Minecraft servers at the time, due to this. Thank you.

    Dude.. This was going on yesterday too... It's funny tho, they suspended the guy on Twitter

    Dang. Any news when Mojang will wake up and get the servers running again? You'd think this would be a big deal lol

    I've tried MineChat and logging in normally, it doesn't work. Only using cracked minecraft works.

    Its not a hack, its a team of DdoSers who are targeting major servers for who knows what reason

    Correct, but then it went to a fight against Mojang coders, and they basically destroyed servers in the process. The DdoSers were defeated this morning, but they had to clean up all the mess they made.

    kek, I saw and I was freaking crying. "He's making an alt" is something that's going round but might take a while to get it out as he has no way of doing so.

    Lol ya'll really need to know the diff between hacking, ddosing, and mojang's issues. Also just advice, it's generally better to just say "Minecraft servers are down" than to speculate.

    These issues were not Mojang. If HoicSquad didn't exist, either would the attack.

    Anyways, by now, this thread has no point. Someone should lock it.
