Ah yes. Food. It comes in many shapes, sizes, and of course, flavors. So post any pictures of food on this thread that look delicious. I'll be starting at the Del Mar Fair in San Diego county. Fair food, known for being super unhealthy. It varies from deep fried to chocolate covered and jumbo to bacon. I will be covering all of the pictures I took at the Del Mar Fair. A great example of the unhealthiness is Chicken Charlie's. Ahem. They deep fry beef ribs. At Chicken Charlie's, they deep fry everything as a giant screen attracts more customers to their stand. In one picture, I'll show you how unhealthy their food it. Yeah... A Slimfast bar that's deep fried. This is how you turn healthy food into unhealthy food. Chicken Charlie's is also famous for their frog legs. I got some right here. They tasted like a mixture of chicken wings and fish. And for $9, two legs is very little. Right next door is a stand devoted to all things bacon. There was also this sign. We never thought about getting that, so we moved right along. Later in the day, we got more food. I got a deep fried Philly cheesesteak. It tasted like a crunchy Philly cheesesteak. It was also very expensive and very small. My dad and my grandpa got these "mile long" hot dogs topped with grilled onions and bell peppers. And my mom got some deep fried artichoke on a stick thing that I forgot to take a picture of. After we finished our "entrees". We moved onto desert. We got a creme puff. And we did end up getting the "thing" for $7. It just tasted like donuts with a hint of coffee. Even FURTHER into the day, we got a giant maple bacon donut. At the end of the day, we enjoyed a feast of meats, pastries, and vegetables. Well, actually. I need to have that deep fried Philly Cheesesteak... I'm suprised I've never seen something like that considering I'm native to Pennslyvania.
