Denied Forum Staff

So I've been talking to Zach about this but earlier this weekend I suggested to Zach something called a "Forum Staff".

They are JUST like staff on the server but they are only staff on the forums. Why can't we just have the staff moderate the forums? Well here is some reasons:

• Many players are more active on the forums (usually because the staff are on the server moderating it) and don't have as much time to moderate the forums and every thread, but with forum staff it's their job to moderate the forums
• Forum staff would have advanced abilities- such as banning. This would be useful because there are tons of bots all over the forums and because half the time the Admins are either sleeping or busy they have to wait hours and hours before they can ban the bot. Having staff that can do this on the forums is more efficient.
• Having advanced abilities (banning, permanently locking threads, warning, muting, et cetera) makes the Admins jobs a WHOLE lot easier and give them more time to work on the server. This is because the Admins at the moment are the only people with these abilities and having people to help would make their jobs so much easier giving them more time to work on the server and make it easier
• Forum staff are active players, meaning they will be always here and will help with any of your problems as fast as possible.

Why should forum staff have more abilities than staff members? Althought this is kind of funky Staff members real job is to moderate the server. The forums is a small part of their job, and being a Forum Staff Member is what their job is all about. Staff members will still be able to moderate the forums but the Forum Staff will be here aswell to help stabilize the entire forum.

Why would this be cool? First off, you guys would vote if this is a good idea (by commenting) and if you guys love the idea, you guys will get to vote for who you think is active in the community that is not staff but it always commenting, liking (or just base it off the amount of messages they have).

If you guys have any ideas to add onto this or want to comment on this go ahead.
The Admins thought this was a great idea- but they wanted your guys opinion on the whole thing.

I love the idea. I say we do need more moderation on the forums. Maybe for like ban appeals we would at least have to ask a server staff but that's my opinion on that

So, if I became forum staff, I couldn't apply for helper, or be staff on the server at the same time ...

 

Staff on the server will have mod on here anyways.

I think this sounds good but I feel like the COMMUNITY should pick.....
