Announcement Regarding ImNotARapper

Hey guys,

It has come to my attention that around 8:30PM EST our long-time Moderator - ImNotARapper (bobby730) made graphic remarks about the staff, ownership team, and the server in general. We apologize if anyone was affected and took offense to anything he has said and we wanted to make sure that everyone knows that the appropriate punishments were put in place for him.

Currently, the spawn and one warp has been reported as damaged and we will work to fix these builds as fast as possible (edit by azza: fixed!) - lucky for us, we have backups incase something like this was to happen.

We do not know what caused/triggered his rage during this incident however we will be looking into it more as times goes on.

If your building was affected by his actions, please contact us immediately so we can fix it for you.

Edit: I find it funny how he accepts his own ban request but he doesn't make have the big "Accepted" tag next to the name

It seemed like he was just joking around then..
Because I never knew he would say that kind of stuff

 

I think this was the best time, even though he griefed some things. This time we had cold hard evidence he was truly being rude about the server

The reason he did this is beause he dislikes where the server has gone, and frankly I agree. He dislikes AZZA and Matty for being extremely overbearing, azza especially for being paranoid and having a program that alerts him whenever an admin's name is said in chat. He dislikes that essentially the only way to be an appreciated mod is to suck up to azza or matty, examples being Kash originally and now SirPug. He considers Matty to have a last laugh complex where he absolutely must have the last word in an argument or disagreement, this meaning Matty will say something then ban. An example of this being Matty banning me for criticizing Leo after I said "Shouldn't he have made a custom API in the first place instead of stealing from Mineplex," in response to a talk about the minigames server.

Essentially he hates what the server has become under the rule of azza and matty. There's more but I'm too lazy to list them. The reason he did the spawn and some other things is, I actually don't know, to make a point I suppose. Or maybe just to piss the admins off.

Either way he's done with BC.

This server is basically owned by Azza and Matty. Its not what it used to be where earning mod meant it where the COMMUNITY could vote and have a say now it seems to turn into Azza and Matty picking who they want seems like if people don't like it. It doesn't matter which is what kills servers and this is how BC is being run which just isnt right. Bob had enough of this he spoke up and left (Im not sure why the grief and shit but eh). Old members who were here before AZZA and Matty are leaving or have left or just don't come on. Whats the point? its not what it used to be.

There should be a thread were we can give our honest opinions on the server and staff so the Admins can find a way to improve our problems.
This would be like customer service for the server

 

I just thought I should take a moment to clarify a few things for everyone, consider them true or not but they are what happened.

(Going in order from top to bottom)

1. Kash from being staff you should’ve reported this before…

-All of you as the community can state your opinion to anyone at anytime, some of you have stated you don’t like how things run, but trust me if you had to deal with the shit we do day to day you would understand its hard. If you have a problem then speak up, don’t just dribble it out when shit hits the fan.

- I don’t like ass licks, and to be honest I hate them. If you want to get anywhere in life you have to work for it not by sucking up to someone. Kash was an ass lick, he knows it, everyone does but I don’t see how SirPug is

- I get the last laugh per say as I am the admin that deals with the majority of the back end/community management e.g. bans, statements etc. as AZZA has migrated towards the technical side as you have noticed.

-I banned you both for essentially saying Leo is shit at what he does as his job, not only was it rude but it was frankly demoralising. Not only does leo do all of the work he does for us for free he also has to balance being a husband and having a job, so please consider everything before you open your mouth casting narrow minded opinions about people. And as stated in the rules “Don’t be a dick or build one” you played a pretty dickish move.

- People like us, People hate us, But one thing must be understood, The server is not under the rule of AZZA and I. AZZA and I are the people that work with the community hence why we may be seen as “Rulers” but we are not. All decisions made are decided upon by our whole administration team not AZZA or I individually.

-I have been here almost 3 years, long before all of you were here and trust me I’ve seen it go up and down and I too agree that It is not like the old days, but shit changes and life moves on, you all just seem to hold on a cherish the stuff from 4 years ago which is impossible for us to get back, people grow up and move on, technology advances and changes, people changes and progress. Accept change don’t push it away​

I would also just like to make a personal statement about everything that was said.

Although i may have progressed through the ranks quicker than everyone else in the ‘Old days’ I have worked my ass for this server. I was the person who stuck my foot down and stated my opinion on the Arcadia saga and convinced Zach to change it, I was the only person who voted for Bobby to continue as a staff member during the Arcadia saga as well. If any one of you understood how much work it is for AZZA and I to do and how much time and effort we have invested in this place for all of you to sit happily and build then to come on here and paint our names in red, its pretty upsetting. Personally I have been here for 3 or 4 years, Have sacrificed many chances including leaving BC to work for Gazamo, Leaving BC to work for World of Keralis as their Network Community Administrator etc etc. Although I have upset some people, and some of you frankly hate me just consider my position in all of this, think of how much crap I have to sort and deal with on a daily basis in order to allow you all to enjoy our server.

If any of you have an issue with me I would much rather you tell me rather than talking shit behind my back where nothing will be done about it apart from a moment of satisfaction from yourself behind the protection of your computer screen. I would much rather you tell me so I can address the issue so it doesn’t happen again.

I do apologise for my language in this speech, but the term livid would be an understatement from the abuse and events that I have received and had to deal with in this speech so it was the only way for me to convey my annoyance.

And calling me an "Ass lick" is very innapropriate in this situation. One of the reasons I left the staff team is because of how RUDE you were to me.
You may have no realized it Matty but really the only thing you've ever done to me is criticize and lately I've been tired of it.
and I know you will come back at me and try to win the argument, as I've never won an argument against you and it ends up as me apologizing for nothing.

I am just trying to learn things and have a good time as a staff member, also, why did you call me a lick arse, somethings are mean and are not meant to be said, at least for the person you are talking about to view it, I take great offense to this and I hope you take back that rude remark.
